@Nothing But The Truth Not really. The Lion of Judah is the sigil of the Kings & Emperors of Axum & Abyssinia and later, the modern Ethiopians. Every Ethiopian Jew, Christian, and Muslim will use the Lion of Judah to show devotion to the city of Jerusalem due to their belief of their ancestors being brothers & sisters to the House of David.

Lol I dont know if this is true or not.... but someone told me recently that there was stories in the bible that were taken out and said that said that that creatures that looked ALOT like the mythical creatures seen in this movie were real and had proof. they even had drawings of them... weird??
Jesus told Peter to put down his Sword, too, when the mob that was led by Judas Iscariot surrounded them. Jesus had everything under control, even though he suffered, bled, and died for all who will believe, and surrender to himself. Jesus Christ was God in Human Flesh, while he was here on Earth, for the Bible clearly tells us:"And the WORD became Flesh, and dwelt among us"!
The stone table = the stone tablets on which the 10 commandments (the law) was written By law. there had to be a blood sacrifice when those commandments were broken. Otherwise, there could be no justice. In the Narnia Chronicles, the death of the just Aslan in the place of Edmund the traitor changed Edmund's identity. He was now known as "King Edmund the Just". Aslan's identity became his own. Edmund was declared Just even though his actions had been anything but that. When Aslan was resurrected the stone table cracked and broke into. The death penalty demanded by the law had been paid. The demands of the law had been satisfied. Mercy had triumphed over judgement. This also represented the tearing of the curtain in the temple at the moment Jesus died. The curtain was meant to separate frthe Holy of Holies, where the spirit of God dwelt, from the rest of the temple. Only the High Priest could enter there. After the curtain was torn, we have total access to God because of Christ's sacrifice. No more separation. When the sons of Adma and daughters of Eve were crowned Kings and Queens, this mirrors the restoration of mankind as having dominion over the earth (all under the sovereignty declaration of God, of course) as they had in the Garden of Eden before the Fall. The curse was broken. It was because of Aslan's sacrifice that Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy were placed on thrones and given crowns. This is also a representation of the verse in Ephesians which says "we are seated together in heavenly places with Christ Jesus" Every time I watch the death and resurrection of Aslan in this movie, I fine myself crying out "Thank you, Jesus for your sacrifice" because it is such a vivid picture of what Jesus has done for every son of Adam and daughter of Eve who will receive it. The symbolism throughout the movie (and the book upon which it is based) is so powerful. C.S. Lewis was not only one of the best storytellers who has ever lived, but also one of the most astute theologians.
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And cried with a loud voice, as when a Lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

:55 makes me laugh every time. when Susan turns to look, her bow looks like it hits lucy in the head. Right when it does that, there's an isolated stone crumbling sound that for the longest time I thought was the sound of the bow hitting Lucy's head. I still can't believe no one caught that and changed the timing. Hilarious. p.s. great movie
@SpartanChic117 Consider it, though; my God is allegorically represented by Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia. He is the Great Lion, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, had the power to resurrect because he is blameless, is love, is just and kind, and offers salvation and eternal life merely for belief that he died for every sinner, including myself. Aslan, in the movie, is only a hinting at what God truly is. God himself is more. Think about it, and if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask!
How can you tell CS Lewis was into esoteric matters? In his time very few dared speaking out the truth behind symbolism as most biblical tales is not literally told but symbolically. Each and everyone of us interpret these symbols in whatever way we can, hopefully to expand our consciousness. Anyway I feel CS Lewis is a master in letting mind and heart join forces to expand what we believe is the only truth and the only way to live. Lewis' character Aslan is one of these soul warriors.
