- 一提起虎标万金油、虎豹别墅和星洲日报，不少人会联想到胡文虎。他在新加坡打造虎标药业，以各种富创意的促销手法， 使万金油成为家喻户晓的良药。他也是东南亚报业大亨，先后创办24份中英文报章，建立起独一无二的“星系报业“集团；1929年在新加坡创办的星洲日报，是今天联合早报的前身。胡文虎建造了三座虎豹别墅，五彩斑斓的建筑是他多姿多彩一生的写照。 《星期二特写》制作队远赴香港和胡文虎的家乡-中国福建永定拍摄取景，也访问了他的两个女儿胡仙和胡星，揭开胡文虎的传奇。
我非常荣幸看到我们的胡家祖先胡文虎厉害的辉煌历史。谢谢你🙏现在我们家乡下洋中川依然保留（虎豹别墅）.

True story : When the Japanese army invaded South East Asia, every soldier's backpack has a Tiger Balm bcoz of the mosquitoes in the tropics. They even received orders not to hurt or harm Aw Boon Haw and his family. They wanted Aw to lead the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce under Japanese rule but Aw refused bcoz he knew he would only be a puppet.

I wish for the continued prosperity for singapore. After living abraod for 20 years, i have come to appreciate Singapore even more and understand the hardships of our ancestors and why our singapore's policies are shaped this way, we need to have our own identity without always emulating the policies and cultures of other countries, when we copy others, we inherit their problems as well.
There is no two countries identical in the world. What you talking about "a country copying another country" is a false premise.
