I have to say the cinematography of this film is sooo impressive. The color lightnings, camera angles and their acting is very creative. The music fits so much to the whole vibe of the film. The actors are very much impeccable too! I love how the female lead shows this poker face kind of acting but still expresses the right emotions of her 2 two characters. I love how the camera works too as it made the whole fighting scenes so real. The film also emphasize the whole story through clear details being executed to the movie. 👏🏼
yeh everything in the movie was great, but only flaws was the plot and character build. They shouldve built main characters backstory more to show how she became so badass. This movie was art though

The art direction was just incredible, I couldn't look away! The music was definitely something I've never heard before in movies, it really struck me as super fresh. The direction was phenomenal and I absolutely loved the deep connection Okju had with her best friend, the victim in similar movies rarely get to be more than that - and here she was a full fledged character. I felt so sorry for them! Incredible movie!
Both the protagonist and the antagonist were also incredible. Both actors surprised me. Really impressive. The production design was very cool, and the music was so right throughout. I’d like to see more from this combination of creators.
I'm so glad Netflix partnered with South Korea to bring us South Korean content on their platform. I truly believe South Korean filmmakers are excellent storytellers and these new generation of filmmakers are taking South Korean movies to the next level!
Art, music, and film director did a STELLAR job!!! We went to look for the OST right away after the film was done but couldn’t find it. So glad it’s finally here on YT!!! It was SO good. The only thing is - wish there were more about the ballerina friend and Okju’s relationship as well as Okju’s line of work. Maybe a part 2???❤❤❤

And after watching I got my eyes on Jun joeng seo and watch A call and money heist next. Now I became a big fan of her. And then I found out that the director is her bf I became a big fan of this beautiful couple!!
I watched the movie yesterday and I was on the floor. Everything was incredible, it was so pleasing to watch from an artistic point of view. The story was an emotional rollercosater. I also love how the director wanted people from younger generations to work on the movie. He understandood everything about everything and gave oppurtunities to the younger ones. I'm a big fan of Wong Kar-Wai's movies. The aesthetic appearance of the movie reminded me of his movies. I am glad that I was able to witness the release of such a masterpiece. I hope to see more movies directed by Lee Chung-hyun in the future. Many thanks to the amazing directors, Lee Chung-hyun, Gray, Kim Min-hye, and everyone else that worked hard to produce the movie :)
While the action scenes are competent, the flashback sequences of MC and her totally just friend/roommate/any other sapphic euphemism hit hard, with the lighting being almost too warm and bright, a past so bittersweet, the MC loving and longing for it yet seething in silent grief over the pain of its loss. It contrasts sharply with the bleak, mundane colors of present she drudges through only for the promise of revenge in an otherwise warmthless, sunless world without her beloved "friend".

I didn't think about that the "fighting and revenge" scenes are okjus kind of ballerina, but now that I think about it, it is more like this: Minhee : white swan (fragile and soft, and beautiful) Okju: black swan (rough, bold but yet also beautiful in its own way)
I watched a movie. Super. The film is made in a noir style, tough but real. The actors did a great job. Nothing superfluous, everything is clear and on topic. I'll watch this again.

This is a hard movie to watch, it is so freaking violent!! But, at the same time, it is so aesthetically pleasing that you can't stop watching, the actors are so good, the whole art is so good. And when I read GRAY in the credits it made total sense since the music was amazing!
I tell you straight . I had a long ride before I went to work tonight. I rode my bike all the way to Orange Beach, and the border of FL/AL and was going to get some lotto. When I got there I just remembered that I forgot the money, and the slips. So, I had to ride all the way back home, and get the stuff. I had a long ride, and it was pretty fum and tiring. I still enjoyed it. Tomorrow I may go downtown to see what's going on, or maybe not. It's going to determine how I feel.
