This game uses Volume 2 as the basis (like other localizations for this game).
While France has their own intros, Germany straight up recreating Volume 1 XL’s intro (music, lyrics but more dynamic). Which I prefer over Volume 2’s. Great translation from German’s team!
I said XL because they cover both sets of intros (original up until 2:10), and a couple of Vol.2 intros (from 3:33 onward)

As far as I can tell, these are *VERY* well-translated versions of the English Volume 1 segues. The meter and music matches exactly, though I'm sure a few things got changed around for rhyming purposes-- for instance, "four" doesn't rhyme with "vier".
I always knew there was a sizable German audience for YDKJ-- hell, they made four volumes of the game for y'all-- that's more than can be said for any of the other localizations (British, Japanese, French)-- I know why now. They did a bang-up job of localizing it.
I wonder if the host flips out and punishes you harshly should you type "fick dich" as a Gibberish Question answer; in the original versions, typing the equivalent English phrase, "fuck you", resulted in a harsh-yet-hilarious rant and punishment from the host.
Another fact about the "fuck you " easter egg: Typing it thrice in one game causes the round to end, and in one game, it even closes the entire game.
@@tibethatguy Yeeep-- with the exception of YDKJ Volume 6, "The Lost Gold", where the game cuts to an utterly featureless "minigame" called Gorilla Hunter.

That exists in the German games in the form of “Arschloch”. In fact, YDKJ Vol. 6: Lost Gold (in English, mind you) changes the first person’s name to flip Schmitty off to “Arschloch”, which is a carry-over from German Vol. 4, which was apparently made _before_ Lost Gold.
