Imagine, Toy Story revived this once almost dead toy. The Army Men brand of toys were relegated to a has been toy by the 1980s. Toy Story saw a revival of The Army Men brand, and even a major color tone change to a much brighter green by a lot of generic companies to match Toy Story's version of them. Let alone the license to 3DO to make a huge endless wave of video games lasting like 6 years. Recently saw a revival game called The Mean Greens: Plastic Warfare which is a 3rd party attempt to revive a lot of 1990's kid's childhood love for the old Army Men video games.
