how about not responding at all ,lol.. Nice video dude. I read in some application certain warehouses or freezer to use standard res' but this video actually gives a better understanding of the difference. Thank you
Hahaa have to watch out for the no response ! Yes the freezers and warehouses could go into ordinary hazard group 2 which would require the standard response. Thanks ! 😎🤙
@@NFPAJoe Thanks Joe , I started following you I am working freelance for my shop in Brooklyn NYC but myself live in Oregon for now. City has much simplified work than west coast construction of mostly combustible and all.
Joe a question for you , if you happen to know ,. I hear that black pipe in many jobs used on dry system. Galvanized only in ESFR jobs or big heads but I can't find anywhere that's describes specifically what's k factor size or at what point should use galvanized in dry system.
Heyy sorry for the late reply. So the option to use Galvanized pipe has nothing to do with code. It’s an option offered to have your sprinkler system last longer. During the sales process of having a sprinkler system installed you could choose to have black schedule 10 or 40. You could add a nitrogen system to help keep moisture out of the pipe. Or you could most commonly use galvanized pipe, and the only reason would be to have the pipe last longer before rotting out due to moisture.
