the reason why they were so brave with the designs this time might be cuz last year EA got sued for the same thing and won the lawsuit by claiming video games are a form of art

Maybe now the people that work on video games can tell vehicle manufacturers to pound sand over the images and such of their vehicles?
They've gotten so realistic that at this point, you could probably slap the real badge on all of these cars and call it a facelifted model and I would believe you
That would be with the rt3000 and blista kanjo. They look almost identical to the real life version.
Really shows just how little creativity is there in Rockstar now.
I prefer IRL cars, so R* did great job this time IMO to get their cars so close to IRL counterparts
@Not Champagnepapi Cars in GTA IV and early GTA V were a creative mix of different vehicles together. You can tell what car it's meant to be IRL but you can also tell where parts of other cars got mixed in. Now, the cars are so similar to the real thing that as the commentor said, could be mistakened for facelifted models of the real thing.
Yeah the real problem is well copyright, I don't know how they got away with it even some of the cars are straight copy paste

rockstar got very brave with copyright infringement with this update
IKR, Cars resemblance back in the day are not really match to any of their real life model and I personally can’t really tell what this car based on but I understand they are not meant the whole game to be real life. GTAV’s Los Santos is a replica of Los Angeles. Some brands like Sprunk and E-Cola is a mocking of Sprite and Coca-Cola. Games like Forza Horizon, Need for Speed, Midnight Club they got a real life cars with real life brand because they asked for permission while GTA didn’t. So they planned to not fully copy the real life car model to the game. But now more and more new updates they really bring an actual model with a very minor difference to them. Furia, Coquette D10, etc. I don’t know if companies gonna sue or copyright claim them or not. But R* at least did some minor changes for cars. I don’t know if it’s enough or not. We’ll have to see.

@@sahzus let me tell you why they didn't make their cars the exact as the ones in real life. In GTA, after the vehicles get damaged, the deformation is shown in game, unlike other games which only show some scratches and body panel damage. Now, the car companies do not want to show their vehicle's critical points of failure cause it affects their marketing. So GTA made their own vehicles with the real life cars as reference. And also maybe they mostly didn't want the tedious job of getting permissions and stuff, don't know about that. BUT, Rockstar may be anything but being broke isn't one of them. Just felt like putting it out there.

thats where the shark cards money came in, to buy as many lawyers as they can if it happens and make it a hassle for car companies to even sue.
They are being this way because EA recently won a copyright lawsuit using the excuse that games are a form of art which is an expression. So R* are probably just waiting to use the same excuse xD
This has been the DLC that I liked the most, they gave that Fast and Furious atmosphere to the game, they put many cars from the saga, the one I liked the most was the ZR 350.
The dominators are amazing and the s2000 is the best drift car imo they blew me away with this update
The dominator is great because it doesn't need low grip.tires so its still.useful.for driving and drifting

Small detail about the Futo GTX, when using the initial d livery the back of the car says tofu 4:09
Also, when you rearrange the word 'FuTo', it spells 'ToFu'.

This update is so damn beautiful. I’m glad cars are getting more respect on GTA now, granted there are many ricer guys driving around. NPC cars in the car meets look better than actual players cars.
Ricers are a lot better than MK2 users tho. A LOT. If i had a button that'd make 90% of people to become ricers, but every oppressor user would leave the game, i'd smash this button hard

the ricer makes much more sense for the setting than flying bikes and sci fi cars. you will see alot of ricers in LA during car meets irl

They named it the RS classic coz the Sultan RS is 2 door instead of 4
I might just sell my Sultan Classic for the RS Classic cause it's much closer to the 22B WRX STi Version V where as the normal Classic is the plain ol Version VI.
And because the RS classic is more close to a 22B (Has wider body kit) instead of a plain WRX STi Version V (no wider rear fender) , while the normal Classic is the plain WRX STi .

Yup...that's where it's inspired from and In my opinion and I played a lot of racing games there's still no game which has cooler or even matchable car changing animation than NFS Underground 1.

Growing up, the Nissan 350z I saw in NFS Underground 2 was my dream car. I'm so glad the 350z equivalent is in this game, I can't wait to buy the Annis Euros!. I've promised myself I'll only buy these cars after I have bought other things, so I still have a ways to go, but I'll get there!

I already put "at my on way" like real life because I'm 43 years old and I love cars and I already was owner of some cars "real life" of some cars who appears in the video, so I put like the cars I once have "it was only 3, and was the older and cheaper of rhem"👍

More cars we need in the future: an fc rx7, gta 4 vette, the original euros(300zx), and a Honda nsx.
All but one have previously existed in the gta universe. Annis euros(300zx), infernus(nsx), invetero coquette(c5 vette). For the fc can be a “zr250” instead of a 350.
I'd like to see more 50's american cars and for some GTA IV cars to make a return

Re: "2 door sultan classic, why RS?" because it's based on the "newer" sultan rs in the game - wider fenders mainly. I don't know if the flags or other pieces behind it are different to the regular sultan classic, but it's meant to be more of the rally car than the non rs sultan beyond the shorter body/wheelbase

It is bro, I started gta because my love of cars, and i had put it down (and started playing forza) after the cayo, but after this ive been playing GTA like the first time I got it😄
They might as well just add all of these cars in the game regularly. It’ll gives us a more variety, besides just online.

I just now looked up pictures of the car online and even re watched the movie again and yeah IT WAS GREEN THIS WHOLE FRICKING TIME, Tokyo drift is my favorite F&F , HOW TF did I not realize the fastback was green!! Only disappointment is that the carbon hood for the futo GTX doesn't also make the headlights carbon too

I find it so stupid that i have to grind and win hundreds of races to reach over level 130 rep just to get DK And dom's livery on the 370z and rx7. i would rather just overpay for those liveries like $100k than spend weeks to months racing for a few liveries.

This is just my opinion, I'm not fan of exact replicas of real life cars. I always appreciated the fact that Rockstar came up with their own designs for vehicles which looked similar to their real life counterparts but also at the same time looked unique.

Well the Sultan RS is a two-door version of the Sultan and the Sultan RS Classic is a two-door version of the Sultan Classic. It seems like RS is a way to let us know that it's two doors and not four.
And RS stands for rally sport so it might have looser handling and a higher acceleration than the regular sultan classic

I think all of them are good match...although In terms of matching their positions and stuff...It's difficult to do it in video than in pictures for example but you've to set the camera on lower corner while In real life pics the camera is mostly centred on vehicles.

I actually prefer non licensed vehicles.... because it increases lifespan of a game....I mean look at old nfs games they're nowhere to be found atleast not on any reputable platform like steam, etc because of their licensing as licence need renewal when it expires which cost money again a 10-20 year game normally could not generate the amount of revenue to justify that licence fee
@@SD1ONE but look at gran turismo and Forza's success! Even they use licenced vehicles right? I say NFS series games died because it no longer has that feeling of proper story mode like it used to have. And after the use of Frostbite engine which is literally focused for FPS games, the physics and quality drastically declined. Not saying NFS games aren't that good, but the current size of it's community says it all.
But yes, unlicensed vehicles do give you a LOT of freedom to be exploited and also sometimes (which Rockstar nailed it) fills the gap of the lacking feel you have with the real cars, with little to no money, agreed!
They actually made the MK V Supra look better than irl, wow!
I was hoping they would also add a BMW M3 or Mercedes Benz C63 AMG
They should add the BMW E-46 M3 and put customizations for the wide body to make it resemble a BMW E-46 M3 GTR if someone wants to make that car from Need for speed most wanted.
About The Sultan RS Classic, it's simple. It was based on the Subaru Impreza 22B. And this Impreza is known as the ultimate Impreza at 1998. A better version of the original GC8. This is why the Sultan RS Classic is named this way. He is a better performance version of the original Sultan Classic
