I just did waterbeach to Ely section today with 12 years old son. This video helped us a lot to find the way around. Thanks a lot. It was a lovely walk. Fully enjoyed it
Another lovely film Joe. I am used to rugged hilly country living in north Lancashire but I love those big skies. Quite fancy a few days walking the Fenland Way.
Know you enjoy walking in East Anglia, are you aware of the new Suffolk Wool Towns walk? Joining four major wool towns it’s not yet way marked but follows existing paths.
I've done the Downham Market to King's Lynn section a couple of times but now I'm wanting to do the whole route. I've even brought your accompanying book.
@@WalkingintheWildwithJoeJackson If I might ask, what was your experience of the availability of drinking water points on the Fen Rivers way please? I'm planning to do this walk soon.
As long as the pubs are open then you should be able to top up there. There is a shop at Waterbeach if the pub is closed at Clayhithe. Shops and pubs at Ely, again shops and pubs at Littleport (might have to go slightly off trail if the one by the river is closed). As long as you carry enough water for 10 miles you will always come across somewhere you can get water :)

Thanks Joe for your brilliant videos. Lovely walks but so well researched and presented too. Lots of useful information.
Thank you! 😁

@@LizSmith292 Yes and its one I am planning for a film at the moment 😊 - its a very local one for me!
Walked Hadleigh to Sudbury today and it is newly, and well way marked (white sheep on eye catching orange disc).
Nice video. First I've heard of this walk. Thanks for sharing!
A great walk for those dry winter days :)

Yes do the whole route! The train makes it so much easier!
Thanks for buying the book too! 😁
Planning my own walk along the Fen Rivers way in a couple of weeks so very useful video Joe, thanks
