I have had SGJ on my to read list for a while but have somehow not got to him yet, but 'The Only Good Indians' sounds like my kinda book. Thanks for the video, really informative and helpful
I commend you for sticking SGJ out. I read like 4 books of his with the last The Only Good Indians and I DNF. I appreciate his unique writing and perspective, but I can't hang. Too bad I didn't read The Clown Brigade. Wonder what you would think of The Least of Our Scars.
Great video! I always enjoy an author spotlight. I've only read Night of the Mannequins by SGJ and it made me nervous to try anything else by him. Luckily, a book club I'm in chose My Heart is a Chainsaw as this month's book pick and I'm reading that now. I'm still early into it, but I'm enjoying the reading experience a little more than I did Night of the Mannequins. Because you primarily read audiobooks, and you've enjoyed his catalog, I may have to try listening instead of physically reading his books. His writing style is very unique and isn't conducive to reading at my usual pace or words per minute. The Babysister Lives sounds interesting. Just borrowed it 🙂. I'll be DM'ing you to let you know how I like it.
I loved The Only Good Indians 🤗 ❤️
@@KodaMeansFriend me too! 🥰
