Dobry has nothing to do with cola name. Everythings is less complicated, Dobry is just an iconic and old juicemaking company in Russia. Every local knows about them and after cola pulled out they just kept producing the same Coca Cola because those are their factories and they just rebranded it ;)

So all the juices and fizz by Dobry are the same, and the syrup/mixture Dobry does is the same. The same syrup is used by Chernogolovka (prefer it more)

They did actually, but they had also changed formula of the drink as american The Coca-cola Company had stopped to supply with Coke concentrate. So Russia made our own formula using other ingredients. Belive or not, you just can feel the difference in its taste. I’m living in Ireland and recently had brought some Dobriy and some Coke to locals just to challenge them if they can recognize difference. By the way, Big Hit costs in Ireland 5 EUR (more than your combo set lol), and its quality less than russian: cutlet is not so juicy, thinner, and bread looks not so fresh. Everytime I visit Moscow first at all I go Vkusno i Tochla to fill in my stomach 😊 P.S. it’s funny to see here comments about “propaganda”, people who write it for sure was never ever been to Russia or they are just getting mad seeing Russia succeed. Already visited 30+ countries, tested McDonalds in several countries and can say that Vkusno and tochka is simply the best. Meat and other ingredients are quite well and have very high level of quality. Don’t want Mc Donalds to be back, will eat it in my trips and its okay)
I work at Vkusno i tochka and to disappoint some of you, salary isn't even up to 45000 rubles for average workers sometimes, at least in Saint Petersburg. The mentioned 65000 rubles is probably the amount of money you get for working almost everyday for 10 or so hours a day for a month, or if you are a manager/director of the restaurant.

I think you should try a coffee house instead and try various desserts with Dasha. And probably I already wrote, but during my visit to Moscow I was impressed with variety of meals in 'Кулинарная лавка братьев Караваевых' (66 places over Moscow). It tastes like a restaurant, but works as a buffet but without fixed price. It is what called stolovaya in Russia, I don't know English analogue of it. Self served, you buy pre cooked meals from a cashier and get it instantly. Most meals sold per weight. You can dine in and should remove your plates to the special table when you are done, because it is self served. However it is not enforced. So there are personnel that helps cleaning the tables for the next clients.

McDonald's have an option to buy back Russian branch in the next 15 years(after 22). However Alexander who bought Russian McDonalds for 1$ was the owner of McDonald's franchisee in Siberia with 25 locations. So even after buy back he will hold that part and if he is not an idiot, he will increase the number of restaurants opened as franchisee.

so in order 1. vkusno i tochka is managed by the same person who managed the McDonald's chain, all the principles and 80% of the logistics have been preserved. 2. Dobryi Cola is the same Coca-Cola, the Dobryi brand belongs to Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola concentrate is brought from China and the United Arab Emirates. 3. Potatoes have become a different variety, they are completely unsuitable for french fries. 4. Minced meat, buns, salads, tomatoes, sauces and ketchups are produced at the same factories as before. 5. The price for an ordinary Russian has become less affordable than it was before at McDonald's. 6. McDonald's did not sell its enterprise in Russia, but transferred management. So it will return soon.

По данным Росстата, средняя зарплата в России в 2023 году составила 73 709 рублей , а по данным Мосстата, среднемесячная начисленная заработная плата работников всех организаций Москвы в январе 2023 года составила 122,8 тыс. рублей, среднемесячная номинальная зарплата в России в июле 2024 года составила 85 017 рублей. Так что 60 тыс не может быть "намного больше". Да и зачем вообще иностранцам сообщать наши зарплаты? это не имеет смысл, ибо у нас все остальные расходы в несколько раз меньше чем в Сша и Ес. Налоги, коммунальные платежи, аренда, образование и медицина и т.д. эти расходы несопоставимы с западными.
Что значит "сообщать"? Это же не секретная информация, он лежит в интернете в открытом доступе. В таком видео это вполне может быть уместно для сравнения с чеком за еду, если бы конечно было подано без ошибок в цифрах. Но даже с такими цифрами, сытный набор вкусной еды в ресторане выглядит вполне доступным. Учитывая, что в штатах аналогичный чек вышел бы раза в 3-4 дороже, то даже так выглядит очень привлекательно. Два человека, живущие вместе и работающие даже за 60тыс каждый - могут хоть по три раза в день там питаться и ещё оставалось бы на аренду. Только лучше тогда пешком ходить, а то через год употребления такого количества калорий можно в дверном проёме застрять. А если работать в самом ресторане, то во время смены тебе еда вообще в себестоимость обходится - 10% от стандартной цены.
Итак давайте уточним один момент, зарплаты в регионах и зарплаты в столице это небо и земля, ибо в регионах зачастую зарплата слегка превышает МРОТ (сейчас ситуация конечно улучшается по-немногу но всё же). Ссылаться на среднюю зарплату - не самая лучшая идея, так как в выборку из которой она формируется попадают как высокие зп, так и низкие. Теперь приведём максимально примитивный вариант подсчёта усредненного значения, который проходится в школе (x1 + x2 +x3 + ...) / колличество x . Исходя из этого примера можно сделать вывод, что (30 +110) /2 = 70. Но на этом останавливаться не будем, существует два термина описывающих зарплаты, а именно gross и net. Gross это до вычета налогов, а net соответственно после. Так вот, в подобного рода выборках часто используют gross зарплату, т.е. даже если человек по такой статистике получает 70000, в реальности он будет на руки получать меньше если память меня не подводит 14% уходит на налоги, т.е. 70000 - (70000* 0,14) = 60200 руб. К чему я клоню, не стоит слепо верить ЛЮБОЙ статистике, ибо ею можно достаточно легко манипулировать. Лучше просто поговорите с обычным человеком из регионов о его зарплате, это будет куда более красноречивым

@@AleckFenelix Yes you are exactly right. It is so much cheaper here that even from salaries that are "low" compared to the West, you can actually afford to live well and raise a family in Russia. In Australia only rich people can have families now because of the cost of living relative to the salary.

Glass is an event going on, as I assume, every years around same time in Vkusno i Tochka. basically, it's celebration of their birthday or something like that, and this year the glass are released in 3 different colors than last year. I also would recommend event burgers cause they come with unusual sauces. Right now it's Demi-glace sauce and it really brings our beef.
"Еда и точка" actually translated like "food and (wi-fi) spot" it's a local chain of street food restaurants in Vladivostok, i don't know anything about controversy but "Еда и Точка" was made way before "Вкусно и Точка"

It was always said (even before the current situation that caused McDonald's to leave) that Russia's McDonald's were much better than US McDonald's because of their local supply chain. Since they already had their supply chain in place, it was a no-brainer to simply change names. Kvas is a fermented bread beverage. There are several types of kvas, one of my favourite is white kvas, but it's seasonal and can only be stored at the fridge as it is lactic fermented and therefore is perishable like a dairy product.
@@AussieComradeInRussia there are different types of white kvas as well, one of them is from oatmeal, for instance - I've never tried that one myself. The one I'm referring to is called "семейный секрет" by Ochakovo, it's in retail only for summer season, bet you can find it on any marketplace. Also, there are three flavours of it - original, with horseradish and with black currant. Horseradish one is the toughest 😅

@@AussieComradeInRussia I mean online marketplaces, like those starting with O, W, Y. Just to be clear - the white kvas I've described is made from rye and malt. There should be oatmeal kvas out there as well, but since I've never tried it, I can't recommend any specific brand. And yeah, Russians love horseradish a lot, it's often served with various dishes or simply with bread. It's considered a mild horseradish if you don't burst into tears upon opening a jar. By the way, traditional Russian mustard is also much more mean than the one that is popular in the West (in the iconic yellow bottles that is), it can easily take your breath and make you sweat if you put too much.
I am from Russia and I heard that "Vkusno i dot" want to try to go beyond Russia, that is, they do not associate themselves as McDonald's anymore. I understand that this is their blat and empty statements. But I am very interested in what if this really happens.

Как житель Москвы так же советую попробовать бургеры в ресторане "franklin's burger". Он куда менее известный чем KFC или Вкусно и точка, но по моему мнению там бургеры куда вкуснее. Там и булочки сами пекут, и из свежего фарша жарят котлеты, а не из замороженного. А еще не жалеют лить в бургер соусы.
Hello from Moscow! If u want nice burger, try Farsh - Фарш. Massmarket pizza - dodo, but the taste depends on the establishment. If u want "Russian" Food in fast food, try Teremok or Kroshka Kartoshka. We have nice sushi rest - Yakitoria or Tanuki (this is all a stylization of Japanese). Its all fast foos market. We have specialized restaurants where everything tastes better.
Maybe this isn't well-known in Russia, but this logo is almost 100% identical to a well-known sportswear brand we have here in spain, called 'Mobel Sport'. You can check it out. When I saw the rebranding of the new Russian McDonald's, I couldn't help but think of two things: either it's a copy of Mobel Sport, or they just came up with the same idea. The Spanish brand is significantly older than 'Vkusno i tochka'.

I’m a graphic designer, it’s my field of expertise, and let me tell you something. The world is globalized, and we graphic designers often use the same online sources for both research and inspiration in our projects. (For some reason, when I saw this logo, I immediately made the connection.) You can't speak for the designer of this logo and say they’ve never come across this Spanish brand. And again, I’m not saying it’s a copy, even though it’s 100% identical. It could be just a coincidence. But one thing is certain: it’s identical!

Там один налог с ЗП или страховка будет превышать в 10 раз оплату твоего жилья за 3 месяца. Ну и не будем забывать, что люди там работают в основном по 12 часов, а не 4-8, как у нас.

Instead of the drink "kvass", there is also a drink "grib". It is grown from a mushroom filled with sweet tea. It is somewhat similar to kvass, but there is no taste of bread, but it is also carbonated.
@AussieComradeInRussia You can say "chainiy grib" (Kombucha) This drink is very common in villages. A special mushroom called "medusamycete" is used for this drink. It is large and looks like a jellyfish, so the word "medusa" (jellyfish) is present in its name
Actually my favourite kvass is the one from the local beer store where they pour it from the tap! Its so much better than the bottled versions in supermarkets. But they are also good too. My favourite supermarket brand is the less sweet one I forgot the name it begins with an O though, if you write it in Russian I will know it

I think that I've mentioned it already, but if you ever spot Бородинский from Очаково brand in a story - do not miss it. Dobry has nothing to do with cola name. Everythings is less complicated, Dobry is just an iconic and old juicemaking company in Russia. Every local knows about them and after cola pulled out they just kept producing the same Coca Cola because those are their factories and they just rebranded it ;)

Hey, nice overview, hope you enjoy Mother Russia 😊 Just wanted to make it clear as there are some my co-citizens that not quite right about Coke and Pepsi “just changed their names”. They did actually, but they had also changed formula of the drink as american The Coca-cola Company had stopped to supply with Coke concentrate. So Russia made our own formula using other ingredients. Belive or not, you just can feel the difference in its taste. I’m living in Ireland and recently had brought some Dobriy and some Coke to locals just to challenge them if they can recognize difference.
By the way, Big Hit costs in Ireland 5 EUR (more than your combo set lol), and its quality less than russian: cutlet is not so juicy, thinner, and bread looks not so fresh. Everytime I visit Moscow first at all I go Vkusno i Tochla to fill in my stomach 😊

Already visited 30+ countries, tested McDonalds in several countries and can say that Vkusno and tochka is simply the best. Meat and other ingredients are quite well and have very high level of quality. Don’t want Mc Donalds to be back, will eat it in my trips and its okay)
I work at Vkusno i tochka and to disappoint some of you, salary isn't even up to 45000 rubles for average workers sometimes, at least in Saint Petersburg. The mentioned 65000 rubles is probably the amount of money you get for working almost everyday for 10 or so hours a day for a month, or if you are a manager/director of the restaurant.

And probably I already wrote, but during my visit to Moscow I was impressed with variety of meals in 'Кулинарная лавка братьев Караваевых' (66 places over Moscow). It tastes like a restaurant, but works as a buffet but without fixed price. It is what called stolovaya in Russia, I don't know English analogue of it. Self served, you buy pre cooked meals from a cashier and get it instantly. Most meals sold per weight. You can dine in and should remove your plates to the special table when you are done, because it is self served. However it is not enforced. So there are personnel that helps cleaning the tables for the next clients.

McDonald's have an option to buy back Russian branch in the next 15 years(after 22). However Alexander who bought Russian McDonalds for 1$ was the owner of McDonald's franchisee in Siberia with 25 locations. So even after buy back he will hold that part and if he is not an idiot, he will increase the number of restaurants opened as franchisee.

Так что 60 тыс не может быть "намного больше". Да и зачем вообще иностранцам сообщать наши зарплаты? это не имеет смысл, ибо у нас все остальные расходы в несколько раз меньше чем в Сша и Ес. Налоги, коммунальные платежи, аренда, образование и медицина и т.д. эти расходы несопоставимы с западными.
Что значит "сообщать"? Это же не секретная информация, он лежит в интернете в открытом доступе. В таком видео это вполне может быть уместно для сравнения с чеком за еду, если бы конечно было подано без ошибок в цифрах. Но даже с такими цифрами, сытный набор вкусной еды в ресторане выглядит вполне доступным. Учитывая, что в штатах аналогичный чек вышел бы раза в 3-4 дороже, то даже так выглядит очень привлекательно.
Два человека, живущие вместе и работающие даже за 60тыс каждый - могут хоть по три раза в день там питаться и ещё оставалось бы на аренду. Только лучше тогда пешком ходить, а то через год употребления такого количества калорий можно в дверном проёме застрять.
А если работать в самом ресторане, то во время смены тебе еда вообще в себестоимость обходится - 10% от стандартной цены.
Итак давайте уточним один момент, зарплаты в регионах и зарплаты в столице это небо и земля, ибо в регионах зачастую зарплата слегка превышает МРОТ (сейчас ситуация конечно улучшается по-немногу но всё же). Ссылаться на среднюю зарплату - не самая лучшая идея, так как в выборку из которой она формируется попадают как высокие зп, так и низкие. Теперь приведём максимально примитивный вариант подсчёта усредненного значения, который проходится в школе (x1 + x2 +x3 + ...) / колличество x . Исходя из этого примера можно сделать вывод, что (30 +110) /2 = 70. Но на этом останавливаться не будем, существует два термина описывающих зарплаты, а именно gross и net. Gross это до вычета налогов, а net соответственно после. Так вот, в подобного рода выборках часто используют gross зарплату, т.е. даже если человек по такой статистике получает 70000, в реальности он будет на руки получать меньше если память меня не подводит 14% уходит на налоги, т.е. 70000 - (70000* 0,14) = 60200 руб. К чему я клоню, не стоит слепо верить ЛЮБОЙ статистике, ибо ею можно достаточно легко манипулировать. Лучше просто поговорите с обычным человеком из регионов о его зарплате, это будет куда более красноречивым

@@AleckFenelix Yes you are exactly right. It is so much cheaper here that even from salaries that are "low" compared to the West, you can actually afford to live well and raise a family in Russia. In Australia only rich people can have families now because of the cost of living relative to the salary.

Glass is an event going on, as I assume, every years around same time in Vkusno i Tochka. basically, it's celebration of their birthday or something like that, and this year the glass are released in 3 different colors than last year. I also would recommend event burgers cause they come with unusual sauces. Right now it's Demi-glace sauce and it really brings our beef.

It was always said (even before the current situation that caused McDonald's to leave) that Russia's McDonald's were much better than US McDonald's because of their local supply chain. Since they already had their supply chain in place, it was a no-brainer to simply change names. Kvas is a fermented bread beverage. There are several types of kvas, one of my favourite is white kvas, but it's seasonal and can only be stored at the fridge as it is lactic fermented and therefore is perishable like a dairy product.

The one I'm referring to is called "семейный секрет" by Ochakovo, it's in retail only for summer season, bet you can find it on any marketplace. Also, there are three flavours of it - original, with horseradish and with black currant. Horseradish one is the toughest 😅

@@AussieComradeInRussia I mean online marketplaces, like those starting with O, W, Y. Just to be clear - the white kvas I've described is made from rye and malt. There should be oatmeal kvas out there as well, but since I've never tried it, I can't recommend any specific brand.
And yeah, Russians love horseradish a lot, it's often served with various dishes or simply with bread. It's considered a mild horseradish if you don't burst into tears upon opening a jar. By the way, traditional Russian mustard is also much more mean than the one that is popular in the West (in the iconic yellow bottles that is), it can easily take your breath and make you sweat if you put too much.

Как житель Москвы так же советую попробовать бургеры в ресторане "franklin's burger". Он куда менее известный чем KFC или Вкусно и точка, но по моему мнению там бургеры куда вкуснее. Its all fast foos market.

Maybe this isn't well-known in Russia, but this logo is almost 100% identical to a well-known sportswear brand we have here in spain, called 'Mobel Sport'. You can check it out. When I saw the rebranding of the new Russian McDonald's, I couldn't help but think of two things: either it's a copy of Mobel Sport, or they just came up with the same idea. The Spanish brand is significantly older than 'Vkusno i tochka'.
These are two French fries and ketchup. No one in Russia knows about the Spanish company.

The world is globalized, and we graphic designers often use the same online sources for both research and inspiration in our projects. (For some reason, when I saw this logo, I immediately made the connection.) You can't speak for the designer of this logo and say they’ve never come across this Spanish brand. And again, I’m not saying it’s a copy, even though it’s 100% identical. It could be just a coincidence. But one thing is certain: it’s identical!

My analytics tell me not many Aussies watch my channel yet which is a shame because I was hoping to have a lot of them watching so we can have some good Aussie banter in the comments etc. I haven't been to very many stores yet but my educated guess is that some do but most of them in the city do not, probably because the rent is so high. I do think I have seen one in a store on my drive to the countryside though.

Там один налог с ЗП или страховка будет превышать в 10 раз оплату твоего жилья за 3 месяца. Ну и не будем забывать, что люди там работают в основном по 12 часов, а не 4-8, как у нас.

Instead of the drink "kvass", there is also a drink "grib". It is grown from a mushroom filled with sweet tea. It is somewhat similar to kvass, but there is no taste of bread, but it is also carbonated.

Actually my favourite kvass is the one from the local beer store where they pour it from the tap! Its so much better than the bottled versions in supermarkets. But they are also good too. My favourite supermarket brand is the less sweet one I forgot the name it begins with an O though, if you write it in Russian I will know it
