Mullion Cove Hotel, Cornwall -- Walkabout & Full Tour (June 2024)

In this video, we'll walk to Mullion Cove Hotel following a scenic footpath from Mullion Meadows, Mullion, Helston TR12 7HB (accessible from the car park behind the Mullion Meadows retail and cafe complex). Once we at the hotel arrive, I'll show you around all the public areas of the hotel, the lounges, the restaurant, the bar, and sauna/swimming pool, as well as the cliffs and harbour area. So don't click off the video too early! If you want to see only the hotel tour fast forward straight to 5 mins 50 secs into the video.
The 10 minute stroll across pathways and styles will eventually lead us to the Mullion Cove Hotel [www.mullion-cove.co.uk], which boasts a restaurant and bar open to non-residents and numerous lounge areas where you can sit and relax and recover from your 10 minute walk!
The walk takes you across a hill top, so you can get some really breathtaking views if the weather is sunny when you walk it. There were Lama's and Wild Horses in the fields along the way!
Locals and tourists alike use the pathway, though I suspect it is not that well known, but it is very beautiful and well maintained.
Alternatively, you could walk it the other way around, and park at Mullion Cove Hotel on top of the cliff (it's not pay and display, don't worry), then walk to the Mullion Meadows retail complex where there are various shops, an art gallery, the chocolate factory, and a coffee shop/cafe that might be cheaper than the hotel if you are looking to do the walk and get some cheap eats and coffees. Especially if there are 3 or 4 of you, this is definitely the cheaper option. A coffee at the hotel costs £3.50, but they don't do fast food.
Anyway, let's keep this short! If you choose a sunny day, this may make a nice day out for a local or tourist in the Helston/Lizard area of Cornwall. Alternatively, if your budget allows, you can eat and drink at both places, but also walk 20 minutes round-trip to burn some calories!
