    Very helpful thanks. I signed up to Tax 1099 and requested 40 contractors to fill W-9’s. They did it. Yea! So now I will have a Mac Numbers ( like Excel) file which has their total compensation for the year. I have the Excel template which Tax 1099 provides and will fill it out and copy in the comp numbers. It would be amazing to see that work. Would love to see you make a Video on this. Thanks

Do I simply type the name until I run out of space? I'm worried that if I do that the name and EIN won't match or is 40 characters enough for the IRS?

      @@octtiger She has a video on this situation. check her video's. But from what I gathered. Is you can do three attempts to request there info. a final attempt would be to let them know that if they will not provide you with the requested info ( W-9 ) that you will file it regardless to the IRS which can lead to a bigger issue for them. and hope the scare tactic works and that person will respond. If the person still doesn't give the info, you can file any way, but the filing will be incomplete and that can create a flag, and the IRS will investigate further into it, which can lead to issues for both parties. the other would be, that if there is no chance of getting the info you need from the recipient, then basically forget about the 1099 and do not write off what you paid them as expense. The service you paid for basically never happened.

      Because you don't need to file with the state for the particular state you have provided. IRS will automatically share it with the state. Only if it is enabled, you are required to select the state filing to file with the state.

    If we pay the vendor by credit card or third party service, we are not required to file 1099-NEC because that vendor would receive 1099-K from that provider correct?

    • @businessfinancecoach
      @businessfinancecoach  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, not correct. These requirements are not related to each other. Just because a payment processor might be filing for a business doesn't negate your requirement to file a 1099 NEC to people you pay. Plus, form 1099 NEC is a form you give to the contractor/business to report for taxes. Form 1099-K is a requirement on payment processors to the IRS. They simply give you a copy. You don't report the form on your taxes, but of course, you should be reporting all of your income.

    How do I file a 1099 for a judgment payment to a claimant? Can you direct me to someone who can help me with this?

    Does your fee for 25 1099NEC include the postage??

    • @soundaryan8742
      @soundaryan8742 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No. You have to pay separately for the postal mail & eFiling. Instead of postal mail, you can also do e-Delivery which is just 25 cents

    Please double check the IRS “Exceptions” on the 2024 Instructions for 1099-NEC:
    Form 1099-K. Payments made with a credit card or payment card and certain other types of payments, including third-party network transactions, must be reported on Form 1099-K by the payment settlement entity under section 6050W and are not subject to reporting on Form 1099-NEC. See the separate Instructions for Form 1099-K.

    The website is super clunky. I had to reenter the same information 4 times at checkout to finally get it to work. At checkout it calculated the sales tax in two different locations before I could move on and your coupon code did not work. I will never use this site again and warn all who read this to find another way to file.

      My code didn't work? Sorry you had a bad experience. You are the first person I've heard say that. If you follow my instructions - everyone has found it easy. Anyway, thank you for letting me know about the code.

    I regret following the referral. First, good luck trying to communicate with this company. I haven't been able to reach them. If your are in need of Tin Matching the website will not recognize the zip code as valid. Lost time and unnecessary stress could have been avoided going elsewhere.

      You can reach out to the customer care easily. On the zenwork assist option, just ask it transfer to an agent and then you can ask your queries

    • @lwpman26
      @lwpman26 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@mohanprasath8327 That was an unrealistic option as you could not reach an agent using that method. They recently reached out to admit the difficulty to communicate nearing January.

    This system is very cluncky and lags and you have to reenter data along with some of the instructions on the AI assist are not user friendly. Buttons youre told to push BEFORE you submit to the irs because you want to do a TIN CHECK arent even relevant to what youre trying or hoping to do. Totally a frustrating system. What should have taken only 15mins max has been a whole nother day. If i hadnt put all my data in ther by now i would change but i dont think ill be using this platform or encouraging anyone. A waist of time and most of the videos being shown now are screens with a totally different view of the actual dashboard now the company offers .just frustrated

    I loved your video on e-filing Form 1099-NEC-it was super clear! Have you thought about covering other forms like 1040 or W-9?
    I’m a video editor, and I’d love to help you make your content even more engaging. I can edit a video for you for free-just send over the footage, and I’ll handle the rest!
    Let me know if you're interested!
