No he didn't. Africans had been to the Grammy's way before Burna. The Kuti family, Sunny Ade, Angelique Kidjo, some South Africans and one Nigerian man had even won a Grammy before. So Burna didn't take Africa to the Grammys please.
@@kessiofkerah LOL. You've taken it out of context. Maybe you should read the comment again cos nowhere did I state that Burna was the first African artiste to grace the Grammys as you alluded. My comment was from the context of the African culture recreated in the stagecraft. Apparently, you read to argue and prove a (no)point rather than to understand.
Idris abdulkareen stood up for himself and not othe artists before, during and after the show. Xharley boy was the PMAN president at the time of the incident. And he was the one that did the sacrifice of insisting Nigerian artists gets paid well, his fight even made the Nigerian government lock charley boy up.
@@temmifissy8727 listen to your myopic uninformed contribution. Go listen to the honest bunch interview with Charley boy and come and thank me later for informing you on what transpired during the whole saga
Eedris has always been a controversial figure in the Nigeria music industry! Even in his days! Had problems with the Platashun Boyz, Fought with jaywon inside a kennis music tour bus, had a confrontation with 50 cent! Had a confrontation with DMX at the COJA all Africa games in abuja! The list goes on.. he is like the shatta wale of Nigeria! We don't really take him serious! He has a single coming up so, he had to seek attention by trending with Burna!!!
Alert.alert kindly react to BW3 slap dee s album released today ..be the one to react to it first ..your reactions are limitless 😂.. Zambia 🇿🇲 ku chalo
@Jsi loop, you are reacting to this conflict from the middle, let me tell you this we love burner but there are some things you just don't say out internationally like him saying Nigeria did not help him but the same country pushed him to the world simple, it's just like sarkodie saying Ghana did not help him and Reggie saying he's not serious for saying that. Before the world if Nigerians did not listen to his songs and DJs playing his songs bro even you no go know who burner boy his today. He forgot his root and said shit on international shows. Bro it's simple if your people no hear you how you wan reach another country, and Idris na agba for the industry, so make burner go sit down simple. If you watch the podcast burner matter na just few lines no be say egbon dey chop him matter. I swear burner lack street OT take it or leave it peace ✌️
Let me help you reason like an adult. Logically, if a musician provides a service and is rewarded with a fee and subsequently celebrated by his people or fans, it does not translate to "help". DJ's play what's trending, it's showbiz and it is very transactional . You claim Nigeria helped him because they listened to his songs and patronise him via concerts and other platforms but lemme point out that he simultaneously had fans in Ghana, south africa and other parts of Africa in his early days, does that mean these countries or fans "helped" him?
