Chikmagalur is one of the beautiful destinations for a road trip from Bangalore. There are many good resorts in Chikmagalur for a beautiful stay. We stayed in River Tern Lodge by Jungle lodges which is around 50 Kms from main Chikmagalur city and is situated on the bank of Bhadra river. The location is beautiful with the best views.
The resort arranges for safari in the evening and morning time. Evening time is Jeep Safari and for morning its Boat Safari where the take you in the Bhadra river and you get o witness some beautiful birds and wildlife. The best part is the morning views which are mesmerising.
This is one of the best location around Bangalore if you are planning to go with your kids as the stay is comfortable with lot of activities to keep the kids engaged.
