at 34:46 actually you can click on the tabs and then click on the middle of details for example to set the component visibility for details for example. And then you'll see that he gets an orange eye icon that tells you that visibility conditions are applied to that specific component.

JavaScript buttons are replaced by lightning components and flows (using lightning components) using quick actions.

I think Flow has the power to integrate with different systems, I would say Flow can be a viable option for the question at 41.03
