In my opinion, if you're keeping it stock, then yes vspec is worth it. If you're going for much bigger power, then no it's not important. Non vspec rear differential is stronger plus its mechanical versus the vspec diff is viscous and computer controlled. Plus you can take that 5k you save and put it towards a quality clutch, ecu, and exhaust manifold for that price. I feel no regret buying a non vspec from Garage Defend. Very nice engine bay on that first one. I gotta get a jdm timing belt change sticker to put on mine now that I'm done with my engine build before I put it back in the car. KN6's look so pretty on a cloudy day which a lot of cars can't do. Wish the shipping company didn't put a 2 inch scratch on my front bumper, I need to get that fixed so it can look as clean as these.
Totally agree. The V-spec isn’t much rarer. If you do coilovers the suspension differences between them are irrelevant. Mostly for bragging “it’s a V-Spec”.
@@d_k_n right, the V-spec is only good if you plan to leave it original, but as you said, if you are gonna throw in some coil overs and beef up the rest of it, v-spec is a waste of $$ ...
I got a standard 1995 R33 GTR and from what I've researched the standard one has a stronger hydraulic differential so its better suited for power modifications. I think one can only truly tell the difference between the two on mountain roads and wet surfaces. I can imagine the standard one would be a little more tail happy and the V-Spec a little more grippy. That's just my guess though as I have never tried a V-spec so I can't really compare it to my standard one.
I‘m owning a Series 3 v spec KN6, only 37 ever made. But the funny thing is that I didn‘t know that even the car arrived 4 1/2 years ago from japan 🤣 At this time the car was 100% stock, no rust... but the price was quite normal 5 years ago. I guess 2.2 mio yen with about 98.000km
Hye ✌🏼 I would prefer a non V-Spec version an drive it, as much as i can, rather than having an ultra rare thing and be scared to take it out of the garage. This being said, in Europe, especially in France, these kind of price are way out of touch. Reason why we've got the most shitty cars on earth.... I just have to keep dreamin about it.

How much did you get yours for
@@omruuu21 30k usd. Plus 1k for storage, and then 2k for export plus paperwork. Then about $1500 for import.
@@Sunny2456- that’s brilliant, their R33s are going for about 55-65k right now. Thinking about pulling the gun for the vspec

Waiting for R33 to be street legal here, will definitely hit you up
Can you make a video on the Evo 4 you have there.
Love the videos
Does Garage Defend sell left hand drive version cars?
Yes, simple as that.
Ill take a R33 in midnight purple please and thank you
All cool 90's cars shot up in price in recent years, my hobby car went up in price 3 fold in recent years.
I just got my MKIV Supra for $40k .. next is an S15 Silvia
Doesn't make a difference. I would go with a base and upgrade to a modern suspension.
R33 gtr the underrated Godzilla
You won't feel the diff if you take every corner with the transmission's in neutral LOL
Having Brembos is definitely worth it.
Don’t like the dash repair above the heater vents
Hay love it

cant believe a skyline with the same steering wheel and interior componets as a 90s altima is worth over 50k
Supply & Demand gts25 - t with 200000 km 1.5 milion yen
Skyline vs altima .... thats your answer
Isn't 1 milion yen difference, gts25 - t 1.5 million yen less than a basic gtr
ナイスですね🤩👍
The R33 GTR is a nice car but compared to that Evo 4 it looks plain jane
Short answer: No
Please let the engine warm up before revs 😱
I’m sure it was warm. Doubt they’re stupid enough to do that.
