Take the Amtrak from LA to San Diego. It goes along the coastline. Very beautiful. I just took it last year. It was my first time on Amtrak in about 35 years. It was awesome. Love your videos. I have never been on a cruise but it is on my bucket lists to complete. Watching your videos has got me excited to go. Especially when you went by yourself as this is how I will be traveling.

If you want to see mountains. Take Amtraks California Zephyr from Chicago to Emeryville (San Francisco.). Get a roomette in a sleeping car. You get to see the Rockies, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

I cried like a baby at his funeral, I felt good after and the energy comes back faster if you just let your self cry buddy. A beautiful train trip you would love is on the Rocky Mountaineer, through the Canadian Rockies. You can do it in conjunction with Alaska cruise. Start or end in Banff Canada end in Vancouver, Glass domed train, you see everything.
You and Casey should do an AmTrak across the country.
It should take about 5 days. Get a roomette :)

It’s a really tough time and make sure you look after yourself during this sad and very challenging time. My dad passed when we were in Disney in April. I flew home and back as he stabilized but then passed. So when you got the call while you were on Virgin I know how hard that was. Take care❤️
Take Amtrak from Denver to Emeryville, CA. The scenery is AWESOME!
Kyle & Casey, Please go on Amtrak's California Zephyr or Empire Builder if you want to see Mountains on a train, The popularity of those routes seem to have blown up since 2020 but the most popular routes still are Silver Star/ Meteor between NYC and Miami
In your first trip to Europe...just ride the trains - you'll be blown away and realize how backwards we have it in the U.S. with transportation infrastructure. Spain has the largest train network in the world now, after China. Their fast trains are amazing.
Kyle I’m from Jersey. We have had double decker trains that take us to NYC for years they are blue. It’s called the NJ transit goes right to Penn Station. Next time you visit get on that. The Amtrak was double decker but we were moving to FL so the auto train has cars too and people pay for bedrooms on there. I think that’s the only way you can get the double decker on Amtrak could be wrong.

Love you all and grandma is still spunky as ever. It def takes time to grieve I still cry over my dad who has been gone for 30 years and my grandma who passed 5 years ago at 94 years old. It’s a lifelong process for sure but still have to enjoy life

I know you're not in Chicago right now but I hope you had a great time and ate some awesome food while you were here. I live 15 miles west of Downtown so I'm there alot. I still love driving in and seeing the skyline....and feels like the first time seeing it every time! Union Station just turned 99 years old and is the 4th busiest rail station in the US. You should see it at Christmas time! They do a Polar Express "trip" every Christmas Holiday which is really cool. I saw Casey's IG stories and so glad you all took that boat ride down the Chicago River! It's such an awesome trip and a great architectural tour! Come back soon!

Add a protective filter to the front of your lens and you won't damage your expensive lens. It is much cheaper to replace the filter than the lens.

Union Station is very Awesome. Many trips thru there when I grew up and lived in Chicago area. Best Amtrack trip was Chicago to Glacier National Park in Montana. Beautiful scenery and the upper skydeck was Amazing. I've been in Jacksonville, Florida 30+ years. Amtrack to DC is a Great trip too. Even got a sleeper roomette one time and love the Dining car food. Have a Great visit and can't wait to see more Chicago videos with Savannah. Italian beef is a must!! I do prefer thin crust pizza over deep dish, but all good. Get some Garrett's popcorn mix. 😋

Prince Rupert to Jasper is regarded as one of the if not the most beautiful train routes in the world. Highly recommend!

Kyle, please, please take the California Zephyr from Chicago to San Francisco. (Emeryville) in the Fall....breathtaking... I actually took it in the other direction from emeryville to Chicago in October and it was one of the best trips i've ever taken. The views are breathtaking, The food is great and the people you meet on board are truly a joy. If you get the family bedroom, it's on the bottom level, however, it has windows on both sides. You never miss a view. The observation car and the dining car are on the top. Level, so you get the advantage of both levels. I would love to see you do a video on it. You do need to book it pretty far in advance. Which would probably work for you? Anyway, because of the way you schedule your trips. Hope you have great journeys in the future. Love your family and your grandma is really special

That neighborhood was similar to Brooklyn or Queens...boroughs. Chicago has great italian and polish food.
They do have rooms on Amtrak too. In Union Station, 2nd floor has a Corner Bakery with delicious sandwiches!!!

I went to a concert in Milwaukee recently. I drove from the south side of Chicago and it took me only an hour and a half so it’s about the same as the Amtrak. Btw it will always be the Sears tower. A true Chicagoan will tell you that.
i'm in TN now but used to live in IL mostly all my younger years, never been on amtrack but been on the Metra before :)

Been on the Magic 8 times, it's the first ship! And you will notice how small it is after being on those mega ships. Hopefully the cruise will help you with your grief. See ya enjoy the Magic! Make sure you eat at Palo if you can. One of the best on the fleet! Cheers! I'll be at lighthouse for Christmas!

As for riding the rails, I too love it as I just did the Boston to Chicago route on one of the roommettes and I’d think you and Casey would really enjoy. You can also do NYC to Chicago too.

Wife and I are taking Amtrak from St. Louis to Chicago in a couple weeks
I’ve taken the Amtrak once and that was from Los Angeles to Northern California and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it because there’s no assigned seating. Also I’m fat so it’s hard for me to fly by a plane. I spent most of my time when I went in the observation car. Also, what do I go? Amtrak is typically when I fly I have to buy two tickets for two seats with the Amtrak I only need to buy one ticket because there’s no assigned seating and the observation is always an option
I had the same attitude when I started to travel by train here in Europe and now a few years later I hate it. Plane ✈️ all the way.

The baseball in your vlog is a brewery, broken bat brewery. Also, there is no direct walk from the airport to the train station, there is a fres shuttle that runs from the airport.

Kyle you should look at the Canadian Rockies train trips. Rocky Mountaineer does it. Search for the glass domed train. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Rocky mountaineer also has one in the US as well now too.
