Swami Mukudananda is passed out from IIT, Delhi as well as IIM, Calcutta. He could have easily earned millions of dollars and sit inside a comfortable cabin or become a CEO or an MD of a company and lead the most happening life. But see his sacrifice for all of us, he just wears a bhagwa and enlightens us about Lord Krishna and his teachings as if he is nothing. God in return is glorifying him. What an inspiration he is....

Thank you for making this channel. It feels very nice to revisit again my guruji's lecture that I heard long time ago. I listen these lectures alone but listening it with you feels like I am listening with souls who wish to elevate themselves in this life journey just like me and I think you don't know how lucky you both are, you got the opportunity to meet swamiji and you both partners are helping each other in your spiritual journey, its a very fortunate thing. Someone said- RESPOND in the manner you think fit (even violence to defend yourself or somebody from an attacker), do not lose yourselves to uncontrolled emotions (you may not even be able to think clearly in critical situations).. Even when abused verbally, do not react but respond accordingly.. I have long way to go..

Swami Sarvapriyananda has many sacred videos, although not sure we've watch that one. Thanks for sharing it -- we'll add that to our ongoing list of recommended videos! You should come to India, stay for a year. Once you're used to driving in India, the US will be too boring😄.
But there is 1 thing I would like to ask guruji. In this story it is Shankaracharya who is using the maid to provoke that guy. What if there was someone malicious or sadistic? Should you still bow down in compassion to someone who sees the same compassion and tolerance as weakness and stupidity?
Should the lamb offer itself to the hungry wolf who sees the sacrifice as gullibility?

While I don't know the answer to your beautiful question, my guess is that Swamiji would say we may not have to bow to the sadistic/malicious person, but we should meet them with compassion and kindness -- rather than anger and judgment. He often tells the story of the Buddha meeting one of his most malicious critics, who is falsely spreading vicious lies about the Buddha, with compassion, kindness and love. But this would be an amazing question to ask Swamiji on the platform!
We can't apply same thing on animals as we're the highest level of consciousness on this planet, we can feel all emotions and act consciously for all situations.. For a Lamb nature has drawn the lines and it lives in between those lines, saving itself from the Lion is completely justified. For humans, sacrificing your life for someone is equivalent to severe Tapasya which not everybody is capable of in the beginning of the spiritual journey but as you progress and dive deeper there is no "Me" left so you're ready to do what's needed in the world by giving everything to the life, devoted to life itself.. Letting go of things in your life is very important.. Not getting attached to them, so that when the time comes you can depart freely from this world with ease.. That was the main message
supreme body(past) says I have multiplied myself without reason in diverse forms ------------------------- prime soul(future) says I have divided myself with reason into every body. TIME ....... : past+future=present time ------- body+soul=present time
