Where do i even begin... This video already where you explain the idea and effort that goes into each song, makes them even more precious to me. I do love this melancholic touch you put into some of the songs. You are so undervalued... the entire album is full of fanastic songs, yet so different .. nothing really sounds like another .. something which other artist would usually spread over a multitude of albums. Also the esthetic and professional videos on top of that, which are also all shot by yourself, it is amazing.

Hello you two!
I am now (almost) 55 years old. Even in my teenage and youth years it turned out that I am not fixated on a certain type of music or genre. For me it actually worked like this: I've always listened to music in such a way that it either reinforced a certain mood, or I chose music based on that that it gets me in a certain mood. This inevitably means that you as a listener have a wider choice than a music listener who is only fixated on one musical genre or even only on one band or performer.
When I was around 15 to 30 years old, the "disco" was of course one of the focal points on the weekends.
I lived on the outskirts of Berlin and of course there wasn't always that much money available. At least not for the big "clubs" or the big discos in the city center. So my realm was a smaller disco on the outskirts of the city that was already overcrowded with 80 guests. But it was still nice. You could still go to the disc jockey and make music requests without having to pay extra. Of course, music was played in a disco to which one could somehow dance and move without having to have had dance lessons beforehand. Depeche Mode, Bad Boys Blue, Visage, Amanda Lear or, for "other moments", ballads by Guns N Roses or Bonfire were so popular there.
But it already turned out at that time that I have a tendency towards the "dark side". The term "Gothic" was not an issue for me then. But I've always had a soft spot for generally dark or black outfits. Whenever I had the choice, I would wear black jeans, shirts or vests and that is still the case today. If there were goths to be seen somewhere, then that always attracted me, but I never dared to go deeper into it.
From a young age I loved listening to electronic music, both fast and slow tracks - that has something to do with mood again.
In the last 7-10 years, for example, a small change has taken place in me: but that only worked because the relevant artists saw the light of day on the stage and in the music world.
I started to listen to a lot of "electro-pop-rock", that is, a mixture of musical styles. Within the gothic scene there are various differences as to how "gothic" is defined or should be defined. One point is, at least for me, that "Gothic" is not only defined by music or genre. For me Gothic is a complete work, a lifestyle. Music is part of it, but not the decisive factor.
In the last few years I have added artists such as "Blutengel", "Seelennacht", "Eisfabrik" or "Infernosounds", as well as for example "Wort-Ton", "In Strict Confidence", "Angels And Agony". Some of the above have co-productions that have been really great.
I actually only discovered music from you two today and this music appeals to me, fits into my "loot scheme", so to speak.
Then to the music directly from you. I was looking for "Dark Pop" in YT. And there came this video with your interview here.
I think what Maria said in the first few minutes is extremely important and I like it very much. Then there is another point that is important to me: Not only the music, but also the text in a piece of music must speak to me and - the feelings must be conveyed. That has always been the case with me and I suspect that this is precisely why my taste in music is quite diverse.
Okay - I have to say to you - it doesn't matter where artists come from or where they live, what matters is what they achieve when you see and hear them doing. In short - I like your music!
For me you belong in the category: "I wish you had already existed when I was young". But doesn't it also mean, "you are always as young as you feel"?
