I think it’s safe to speak for all creatives when I say we’ve missed these kind of videos. It really helps the community level up their design whilst improving on the business skill and mindset. Cos the futur has a way of teaching design like no other TH-cam channel. Thanks for this 🙏🏽
Thank you The Futur Academy, I'm really happy you made a new audio track to Leo's tutorial, this new version will finally reach 1M+ views, Leo deserves recognition 100%. I'm a passionate fan and student of The Futur, thanks again and so much. OneBillionMinusOne
When i first watched the video on typography, i asked myself how did this person create this. the thought and planning that was imbedded was mind blowing. Thanks to the futur, am way better off with my design skills set after university and more power to Leo's elbow
Wow. There's a lot here. Thanks for explaining every little 'gotcha'. I would have quit just trying to figure out how to square off the rectangle's corner, never mind the 3d resolution issue.
This was awesomeness!!! Adding the subtle fixes to the sticking points we might encounter in the process really helped to understand how to refine the animation. Soooo glad I signed up for the Animation for Designers course!! Excited to learn more!! Thank You @The Futur Academy
@@TheFuturAcademy I love A.E but I hate every update. it is wonderful to see a creative process without the need to show the latest software update as if it were indispensable
@@MGuyette3289 I just started learning AE a couple days ago and most of this made sense to me..don’t hold off on learning it! You’re absolutely capable 😁
66y old grandpa has finally gone through this in detail (there are a zillion distractions and I need to hide somewhere to do it 😊). Quite like the process. Thank you Leo, Greg and the Futur. Another lesson learnt.
For people who use Adobe After Effects daily Is the GUI intuitive? Organized? Sized correctly? Extra? Cause after watching this video it feels like hell to do anything.
Is he based in the US? I noticed the chosen framerate was 25 instead of the usual 24/30, and I was just wondering why that is. Great tutorial though as always :)
ugggh...I really don't wanna learn motion but I feel that I have to (even the basic working knowledge). I'm just a print, digital, brand, web, and UX/UI designer. learning this shit hurts my brain. I'll learn it in the next 1-3 months when I have energy, time, and 'wanna' learn it :( Leo's design is off brand. Blind uses Futura
It frustrates me that the regular person who has never tried motion graphics/design might think a video like that would be simple to make, oh how wrong they are

Client: Why are you so expensive?
Designer: Sends client this video.
Client: 😳
Designer: 😌
I thought I wanted this...but now I'm more intimidated by AE. Lol. Maybe I'll go find some more "beginner" tutorials and get back to this later...
jump in Matthew! you might surprise yourself.
@@TheFuturAcademy you know what? You're absolutely right. If I don't do it now, I never will. Commencing round 2. Haha

in this video the OP uses an older version of After Effects... but yes, it is a friendly interface.
this was made some time ago. we just finally got a round to releasing it.

We actually stopped using Futura some time ago. We use Helvetica, Champion Gothic and Calibre
@@TheFuturAcademy Ahhh...a rebrand. lets see a departure from vibrant purple now. Calibre? 'a' looks whack.

Nice Bait by naming the video kinetic 3D
