    Was fortunate enough to get one earlier in the season and already up to 40cm,they never seem to be full,just keeps eating. Really are a gem amongst the single coloured koi. Think these would be one of Okawa's best along with the Shiro Utsuri. Magical fish.

    The shine of Yamabuki ohgon is wonderful. The larger length of a Mujimono koi is, the more valuable it becomes. I want to grow them.

    Very impressive koi with great potential. I have a doitsu karashgoi that is approximately 67 cm and has lovely colour but I doubt it will ever reach the size the ones in the video will.

      @@Ricky_Stoddart_Koi From what I seen on your other videos you have an eye for high quality koi with great potential for substantial growth so I have no doubt the karashigoi will do the same.

    very good enjoyed that - I've just bought one of these, a nisai from Yagenji at 50 cm and am looking forward to watching it develop. It will be interesting to compare with yours.

    What happens to the fish that you reject? We heard it all the time on different videos but it's never stated what happens to them. Do they end up in general fish shops, like Maidenhead Aquatics, in tubs of mixed types of koi? Thanks

    • @Ricky_Stoddart_Koi
      @Ricky_Stoddart_Koi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The level of the fish I don’t keep is still relatively high because of the overall start quality.
      They are sold to dealer all over the country. Most of which can be found here koi-wholesale.co.uk/dealers

    Look great, any idea how these would compare to a marusei Karashigoi I have two dealers in Northern Ireland that can get me in a jumbo tosai okawa 24-30cm or a nisai marusei 30-40cm don’t know what to go for 😅

    • @Ricky_Stoddart_Koi

      Okawa everyday. It’s a very special lineage.

      @@Ricky_Stoddart_Koi so the dealer got your okawa in and got one at 33cm impressive size but it’s quite light I love the shade of that nisai in your vid would I be better to go for one of the smaller ones with stronger yellow or would it darken 🤔

    • @Ricky_Stoddart_Koi
      @Ricky_Stoddart_Koi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nasovlamingi go for the lighter ones they will darken with age.

    • @nasovlamingi
      @nasovlamingi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ricky_Stoddart_Koi I think I might there’s a 35cm tosai there bit less pale but still not that deep yellow with one random gin rin scale but think I’m gonna go for that hopefully turns into a monster 😂
