Hi Katie, I’ve read that some of your followers can’t read this book and probably can’t read any book that is about auschwitz, and I can understand that, but I must tell you about how hard it was for the survivors to actually open up and talk about their experiences in auschwirz. Some survivors haven’t been able to talk about it even to their family’s.The survivors who wrote books about how they struggled to survive such horrors have wrote these books to tell people that it did actually happen, and needed to tell people so that it would never happen again. I think that if these survivors where strong enough to re live the horror they went through by writing a book, I think we owe it to them to read about it , as hard as it is , and talk about it and to educate our children so as to never let this ever happen again. And let us remember all those who died in those awful concentration camps. Xxx
Hi Katie I have read this book and almost all books about Auschwitz. I visited there for my 50th birthday and it was soooo soooo sad. I really believe people should know about what happened at auschwits so it never happens again. There are so many books to be read about survivors and what they had to go through. Thankyou for bringing this book up so people can read it. ❤. Xxx
I’m jealous you got to visit there I’ve always wanted to go! I think it’s important to always talk about these stories and make sure no one ever forgets what these people went through, I loved the book and I hope other people read it too x
It’s a place you should try and get to, it was on my bucket list of things to do. I’m sure more people will read it now you have talked about it.thank you again . Xxx
This was such an inspiring book and so different from what I thought it would be. It’s one of those books that I feel like I‘I just read something important “
@@katiealiceasmr oh gosh really? If you're interested in a spooky one, "The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires" is pretty darn good. It does get gory so I'm not so sure if it's an appropriate book though?
@@TotallyLegitASMR do you have another suggestion that isn’t scary or gory? Something happier maybe? There’s a lady who is part of this that doesn’t like scary things xx
This is an incredible book. It’s hard to imagine something like that happening. It just seems impossible. So, so sad. I loved your review of the book. I could feel your emotions when you spoke about different parts.
They suggested the southern book clubs guide to slaying vampires by Grady Hendrix 🧛♀️ However jeannie said she prefers uplifting books and I know this one gets quite gory so wanted to see what you guys thought about this book before announcing it❤️
Such an intense and sad story. Must have been very hard to read. I can't bring myself to read books that would depress me. Thank you for talking about it
It is intense for sure but overall it’s a beautiful love story that withstands everything that is thrown at it, so more uplifting than depressing but I understand you not wanting to read it, thank you for watching and listening! 🫶💗🫶💗
I’ll be reviewing this tomorrow! 📚 👍🏼
I can’t wait to watch your review! ❤️
