This was my dad's first car after he came home from WWII. He got hired for Caterpillar and ordered the Buick but had to wait 3 years to get it. When I was born in 1951 the 48 Buick was the first car I got to ride in from the hospital to home.

Breathtaking art-deco machine. My favorite cars of all time are the '42-'52 2-door fastbacks. The two-tone color combo on this one is fabulous.

At 77 I'd have to say that this auto is the prettiest I have ever seen. Super fine color scheme with the gun metal grey over top of the black and grey also extends into the hood. Very fine.

I thought you said it was a cheap car, 15,000 is cheap 38,000 is nuts. 20,000 is the right price for that car, and it still needs 5,000 more to make it a 10

Beautiful car ! Love it …..hey do not ever put your car cover on the ground …..it is like dropping your wash mit in the dirt , rocks and dirt are now in your cover …….shake it out and then wash it at a laundromat do not put it back on the car with that nice paint without a properly cleaning ……..unfortunately, I know you more than likely did just that ……..come on man

Relative humidity is anywhere California. Miami etc .the snow is the one that rust metal due to the salt on the road.

Beautiful. A friend had that same one in dark blue that his father gave him. He was the second owner. His father bought it new. Always garage kept. It was a peach. I like them more than the Fleet Line or Style Master Chevy
