I really like your picks! We are using Sonlight Readers for my 1st grader this year too! I would love more of a look into the Spelling Power book and how it has kids practice their words.

I would also love a more in depth look into Spelling Power. We’ve been looking for a new spelling curriculum for next year and I’ve never seen this one before.

I would love to hear more about your co op classes. I am always on the lookout for new ideas for our enrichment school!

Great seeing you curriculum picks for next year. I actually have some of those readers on my list to get for the new school year. Definitely love how CLE teaches math.

I love your book choices. Love those readers! We also loved Christian Heroes Here and Now (YWAM) as read alouds. I love the journaling idea.

Really interested in looking at the language curriculum ! Do you have a more in depth video on that one?

I used Spelling Power back in the day when I was growing up.

Im thinking of switching my daughter from abeka math to CLE 2nd grade math next year. Overall, im happy with abeka, BUT I feel abeka is super teacher intensive. Do you feel CLE is time intensive for you? I know you have a large family too, so you understand the balancing act!
I did watch your do a lesson with me video, that was helpful!
In comparing abeka to cle, cle seems like it might have slightly more problems actually! Do you ever feel the independent section is too long?
    Thank you for your help!!

Have you ever used Writing with Ease alongside First Language Lessons? If so, what were your thoughts on WWE? I'm doing both of those now with my first grader but finding it hard to keep up with both of them...

I purchased writing with ease a couple years ago but ended up not using it. Rian from Momma on Mission has used both and would be great to ask! 💜

Spelling Power…it’s not necessarily that list for the whole week. They pick up each day testing on the words they missed yesterday and keep going for 5 minutes. Study those words, do activities, and repeat the next day.

I love all your picks but I’m so frustrated that my charter doesn’t allow any “faith” based curriculum.

Is there a reason you don't do CLE lang arts or CLE reading program

I have in the past 😉 it wasn’t a good fit for her. I’m actually going to use CLE reading with my 3rd grader next year.
