So did I! Loved it. Didn’t even pay extra, had a riverside wedding and got to float the river in the morning. In fairness, it was a micro wedding with only our immediate families. I wouldn’t recommend an Airbnb wedding to someone who’s planning the typical big-party style wedding. Still had food, flowers, cake vendors, but kept the rest super simple.
So so many questions! I want to do this but I feel so lost even after hours of research! Would love to hear more about this from you, absolutely love your content 😊
Honestly skimping on a legit wedding venue isn’t always as cost effective as it seems. The cost of the space plus renting/buying tables, chairs, dance floors, decor, portable bathrooms, linens, cups, plates, silverware, etc can add up to what a venue would cost with all that stuff (plus staff) included. Also having a venue that’s beautiful on its own can save a ton in decor and flower costs.
Yeah we did the math on mine and it seemed expensive but everything was included but the food. They had the tables and chairs and linens and everything.
We recommended this to my aunt for my cousins quinceañera. It would have actually been cheaper than the event center and wait staff. She chose a local event center and we still had to do all of the cleaning. But for me it’s think outside the box.
Giiirl not porta parties, you can get outdoor built toilets set up in a marquee that they use at countryside conventions. It won't make your venue look ugly, but just like another marquee.
Baby 1 I rented on my due date and baby 2 I rented a little earlier because I was having serious signs. We live near Destin, Fl so there is no shortage of rentals and stayed for 2 weeks each time. Called it a babycation.
Every location I’ve seen always has a no parties rule so I’m curious of how maybe bypassing that works. Like is it really as simple as just asking the host?
We have an Airbnb at the beach rented for 4 days for our us/ wedding party / family. Our venue is 20 mins away. It’s gonna be amazing. We thought about doing our wedding at an Airbnb (micro wedding) but as you mentioned all the renting, catering, alcohol, cleaning… too much. Even though I planned my own wedding, having it at venue with staff is much needed!
Can you please do a DragonBall theme wedding ideas. Please please. Im getting married this October. And DragonBall is how we began to be friends. It would be so meaningful to incorporate it in my wedding.
Okay now I'm worried about the horses. Like you checked on permission to interact right? I HATE when looking lous think my horse is there for THEIR entertainment
Definitely spend the money on a cleaning service. Don’t be afraid to call local businesses.
Okay but this is actually a really good idea!!!!!!!!!!
My cousin had her wedding at an AirBnb. It was only about 35 people, just family, and we also celebrated Thanksgiving.
I feel like you gotta put a LOT of trust in your Airbnb host for this. And find the right one. Happy it worked out well for you!

I would not want to use a portapotty in wedding attire.
good point
It’s not one of those gross plastic portapottys. It’s like a trailer and inside is a normal (actually quite nice) looking public restroom
@@willow_dearest08 Last year I attended a wedding with one like that. It was the cleanest, freshest bathroom on wheels I'd ever seen!
I've been wondering about this. You make seem more approachable

Can you talk more about this like wedding size, how and where to get insurance, etc?

That is a great idea!!! I am helping a friend for her daughter's quince, I will suggest an airbnb.
It depends on the airbnb host now.

Also where did you find this airbnb??
Great idea!
I had both of my home births at air bnbs because we lived too far from the hospital. Wedding sounds like a piece of cake.
Girl how did you know when to rent it for?

How many people attended the wedding?

Hi! How many guests?
Why would you rent a porter potty if you’re at your air bnb with multiple bathrooms in it?
We are going to do a backyard wedding, do you suggest getting ready in a hotel? I am going to have 8 bridesmaids
I got ready at a friend’s house. Her house is just a normal house but had nice big windows and the pictures came out great.

Tried to rent a abnb when my cousin was in the hospital they did not do same day booking to stop unauthorized party
Wow what a beautiful idea thinking about all this is ALOT I just wanna marry the man lol .
Airbnb actually has the rule currently. And FYI will shut down any host that allows parties.
If the host allows it air bnb can do nothing

I hope you have a lovely wedding
That would be the way I would go, except hiring the help.
You can hire a maid service to clean up everyday you’re there. And if they will let you. You can hire a cook too.
A bunch of teens threw a party at an airbnb in Pittsburgh and then there was a shoot out.
