Hey I'm in 12 commerce stream, Just a piece of advice~Take maths as optional as it is compulsory for eligibility in du for bba and bca and many more mainstream commerce courses. I didn't take maths and am facing difficulty for finding good colleges. Rest is your choice.
Ps: Hey all I think I have made some confusion here, Maths is good more like always better to take coz it'll make your mind comfortable with maths. And You will get Bcom and bcom Hons in DU. And currently even I've made it to DU for Bcom. But yet again I'd still advise to take maths as in CAT and CA it isn't necessary but you'll be comfortable with it. Rest is upto you there's still a lot of scope if u don't take maths.

Hello I am in 10th now and I want to be a doctor in future for this I have to take science in 11th but now in 10th what should I choose standard math or basic can I pick science in 11th if I choose basic maths in 10th??
For giving neat and becoming doctor you have to take pcb(physics, chemistry, biology) in 11th class and you can choose basic maths in 10th class

There is an article recently came from cbse that students can choose standard maths even if they have chosen basic maths in class 10th...
Plus if taking commerce you can go for applied mathematics without any interruption and applied maths is also more commerce oriented...

No not necessary CA does not require maths but if you are interested in maths then you can opt for maths
Taking maths in 11th is not necessary for CA
But in foundation you have to give maths paper...so keep this point in mind...
And yes, if you have an interest in maths then you should take maths because that will provide u a base for CA foundation paper...
And haa if taking maths, then take "applied mathematics"..
