Instead of changing the the colour of it, I went ahead and cut some bangs into it. They completely changed the look.

Best thing to do is ask for a full fringe but very lightly, then at home thin it out to make it whispy by cutting along with the scissors pointing up like she does in this video

did this and my bangs came out beautifully! :) biggest tips:
1.) start slow and breath.
2.) for longer hair, after parting your section, don't immediately cut up to where she's at. cut up to your chin, then continue.
3.) go slightly lower than you want, and work up from there.
4.) when holding hair with your fingers, don't do it tightly or cause tension in your hair. loosely grasp between fingers.
5.) it's okay if everything's not completely even.
I honestly did the twist part once or twice, little by little, until I got around the length I wanted (slightly below the brows) and did the cutting up technique to fix any choppy areas. believe in yourself! you got it! ♡

-if you have naturally oily skin it can possibly cause more frequent break outs
-You will might need to style it because it won't have the weight your regular length does/ your hair texture at a short length
-Google might help you find the bangs that work with your beautiful face shape!
-Remember hair will grow back if you feel like you messed up

This is the exact video I needed!!! I've bangs for a few times and a long period and loved it, never had problems trimming and cutting it by myself. But now I want a more lightweight sparse fringe but I wasn't sure how to cut it! I always did the mistake of taking too much hair for my bangs. So, thank you Stella, thank you for saving the day! I've been cutting my own hair since I was 11. Ever since this lady butchered my hair and gave me a freaking mullet I never let anyone touch it.
