  • Here we demo the application of Magic Crack filler for concrete. This is a very easy to use, DIY repair for those 'spider cracks' found in concrete. Magic Crack is a super-fine powder that flows into these tiny cracks, filling them and making them invisible. Magic Crack doesn't bind the slabs together, it simply fills and makes these cracks 'disappear'.

You do not want to apply it to a moist crack

I had hairline cracks that were 20’ long and were so deep it’d take a case of this filler to fill them completely so, wetting beforehand is handy to stop the sand from reaching China. If the slab is cracked through to the bottom it isn’t necessary to fill it completely. And if the dirt has gotten washed out at the bottom of the crack you’ll be there all day pouring it in. No bueno. So I’ve found that pre-wetting is beneficial for sealing a deep crack.

What is this compared to the dap debt crack filler

@@USAFreedom4Ever I have found the liquid looks more obvious and doesn’t last. This stuff looks very close to the color and texture of the concrete. It dries super hard and is more durable. Plus you can sweep it into the crack so residue doesn’t stay where you don’t want it. So, it depends on how picky you are with the end result and how long before you do it again.

@@stuffhappens5681Start by pre-filling your deeper cracks with dry paver sand, then you won’t have to use so much of your filler, and you won’t have to pre-wet it either.
