We did Quantum last May. Nice ship but Toooo many oeople. Buffet packed, many venues sold out. Took long time at ports to debark and load up. Staff was great and food ok. Beds were not good. Will stick with Holland, Celebrity or Princess
The pre booking disappointments are ashamed. We are not even on our cruise yet, and we are finding out That anything we haven’t already booked if sold out. Very disappointing!

Northstar on an Alaska cruise is almost always closed on sea days, because the sea is so rough. Port days are your best bet.
It doesn't help that they charge extra for sea days.
