@@daveygabc he sings with a lot more power and rasp this year compared to any other previous year in his solo career. Seems he's found a technique now that fits a good tone with also being able to keep his voice in check which is why he had to previously stop singing like that

The no capo thing checks out as well as if you look at early live performances, you never ever see one being used. It was only in the later days of Oasis that Noel started using a capo to make the chord shapes of Rock 'n' Roll Star easier to play, for example, even though he never changed the key. These days he plays Half The World Away with a capo on the second fret because of personal preferences I guess, but this always was and always will be the original key

It was at Newcastle Metro radio arena and we had seated tickets and i blagged my way through security and all the geordie lads put me on their shoulders. Im now 31 and safe to say ive been to a fair few gigs by now but that was very memorable for me. Time flies, enjoy the ride 🙏
