People will not buy carrots without the tops at my market. Then they hand them back and ask for me to take the tops off . I had deer get in the gate and eat the tops off . I ended up giving the entire bed away to a food rescue because I couldn’t sell them. It’s perceived that if the tops are missing they are not fresh .
