Tom Mawi is Fiji's best ever guitarist, and Steve McComber is one of my favourite singers outright. We used to go and see him as often as possible at Birdland and Traps in Suva in the late 1990s, I last saw him at the Fiji Jazz and Blues 2011. I hope he is on next year.
