I lived in Bulgaria for 7 years. It's scary driving when it feels like you're an alien in a different world... but do it enough, realise that people generally are super kind and helpful, and soon you grow to love it and the fear goes. Fab post Saffy. One thing I can tell u from experience is that adventure riding teaches u how to suffer and deal with it. But those days when everything is perfect makes it all worthwhile. Biscuit failure would totally break me tho!! 😂 Great job 👏

Brilliant... last time we left Ijmuiden heading for Arnhem... sat nav took us (8 of us in convoy) to the front door of Schipol airport... and was telling us to turn into the terminal building... memories like this trip last forever

So glad you made it! Traffic is coming from the other side, just be aware of it. 👉👈 As deep as you go on the planned route the more "impatient" drivers you will meet. Stay safe and give more view from the rear camera. It really is great!

I really think you could benefit from a small screen on the front. It would allow you to drive on motorways without feeling like you are being pulled off the bike. I know you don’t plan for too many motorways but having that screen can make a huge difference at any speed above 60kmh.
I had one, flew my drone into it in ab earlier video and took the while thing out

You really need to look Into the decathlon quechua 2 seconds easy fresh & black tent... Trust me 👍.. Great vids I've started biking this year and love it 😊👌

Loved the shots of the sky at night. When you said what food you were taking I went out and got a sample. Offered it to my dog and he just walked away from it which was a first for him 🤣 Best find a cafe on the move Saffy 👍

I had to go camping in October, once, up Thorpe Cloud, in a cow field. Never again. It was bloody freezing. 🥶

Travelled from UK to Croatia by coach ,brill coach drivers , stopped off in Sound of Music country (Salzburg) ,amazing scenery Alps etc.
I found myself adjusting to riding on the right very quickly until I had to do a u turn then I stupidly was in the left without thinking until cars were driving towards me!
Well done Saffy, don't know how you fit in all the filming, I have trouble just stopping to take a couple of snaps !😄
That tent seems quite time consuming to erect, I use a 3-4 man tent (you’d never sleep 3-4 people in it 😱) with ground sheet and rain cover all in one I can put it up in a matter of minutes, it also has a little porch area for panniers, boots and cooking stuff. Keep up the good work youngster 😉

A bit scary to travel into the unknown and unseen, not? But in your eyes I see only excitement and curiosity. Facing the next turn with an open mind is the very essence of adventure. Drive safely into the next episode. 🏍🍀✌
Ps When I was camping ,I had a wee spiky visitor ,a hedgehog scoffing my victuals ! A welcome but prickly one.
Hit up the grocery store for local food. You can find some great stuff for camping.

Totally agree, no need to take ration packs in Europe . Fantastic bakeries, food markets in most towns you ride through. Takes 2 minutes to grab some bread, cheese etc. Eat a cooked lunch at roadside cafe for peanuts (look for the parked trucks and cars always a good sign) then no need to cook at night. All part of the learning curve and that's part of the adventure .
@@steve3cv I always bring a couple meals worth of canned or freeze dried for when I get to camp late.

Just crossing through the north of Deutchland, Saffy? Been to the South of it in July, Bavaria, so many castles and soooo Green and the roads in the mountains are stunning!
In Poland you be close to my town is called Cieszyn is one of the oldest Towns in Poland is like small Vienna in Austria.

I've never been a big milk drinker! I've always been soy milk, it's so hard to find small enough cartons to carry around!

Why did you need brake fluid? Hope your enjoying the ride. No need to suffer when camping. Yup having ate army rations for a number of years those oat block biscuits are dry lol.

This was the first time setting it up on screen! It was a little strange but once you pop it up your brain goes "oh this makes total sense"
