looks good, im looking to get a ir temp reader to test temp differences between a plastic, aluminum and alternate tube type. That aluminum tube seems to heat up. might also consider wrapping it.
Thank you for sharing this. I wasn't sure about the fitment of the CAI Tube but seeing how yours fit perfectly i think mine would as well, we'll see tomorrow. Btw what is the year of your shaker?
So there is a hole in the coupler that goes to the throttle body for the sensor? All the pictures i seen online doesnt show that it has the hole, leaving me to think its just left to hang. But i seen yours is hooked up somehow.
Quick question bro.. I just purchased that same intake for my charger. I would like to know how the “sensor is seating?” Did you tug it all the way in or is it loose (mine is sitting loose) I fallowed the instructions to install it, but I’m not comfortable with the way the sensor is placed.
It definitely looks better 😎

Trevor Tyner Yes. There is a hole for the air flow sensor in the intake tube.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the info.
Did it gain any hp?
Maybe, but it isn't noticeable around town. It's mostly a sound and cosmetic upgrade. I didn't dyno before and after so it's hard to say.

It sits a little looser than in the stock tube, but the vacuum generated when the engine is running seems to keep it tight and sealed.
PaseoPulse92 a little lol.. that shit is way too loose in my opinion. I don’t even have to force it out.
So is it normal?
Mine came out with very little force, but it was snug. You could put some silicone on it to hold it in if you're uncomfortable with it.
PaseoPulse92 ok thanks
