A 3,3 kV, 50 HZ, three-phase, star connected induction motor, with an output of 100 kW, has a synchronous speed of 500 r/min. The full-load slip is 1,8 % and the full load power factor is 0,85 lagging. The stator copper loss is 2,44 kW, the stator iron loss is 3,5 kW and the rotational losses are 1,2 kW.
Calculate the speed in rpm of a 6-pole induction motor which has a slip of 6% at full load with a supply frequency of 50Hz. what will be the speed of a 4-pole alternator supplying the motor?
Please mam please measure the tension of each phase and slot by measuring the armature rotor of the induction motor. And please give a video of the cable size diagnosis
I really could not understand what you did mean by 'measure the tension of each phase and slot by measuring the armature rotor of the induction motor.' About cable size diagnosis I shall try to be of help.
the reactance and standstill reactance of each phase of a three phase induction motor with star connected rotor are 0.06 which when connected to the rotor circuit will give a passout torque at one half of the full load speed .what is the power factor
Thank you for making this video Ma'am. I'm a KTU student (Kerala)
Glad it was helpful!
Ma'am you're made it very lucid. Thank you & respect

Very nice
Many many thanks for your helpful video
Most welcome. Glad it has been helpful for you.
Mam..
Mainak Mukherjee from JCGP here.
Hope You remember...
Thanks you for explanation !
yes. What are you doing now?
A 3,3 kV, 50 HZ, three-phase, star connected induction motor, with an output of 100 kW, has a synchronous speed
of 500 r/min. The full-load slip is 1,8 % and the full load power factor is 0,85 lagging. The stator copper loss is 2,44
kW, the stator iron loss is 3,5 kW and the rotational losses are 1,2 kW.
What should I calculate? I/p power=108.995kW, Armature current=22.434A, efficiency=91.75%
@gargibasu5111 may you kindly show how obtained the I/p (input power). I got 103054.99W
Calculate the speed in rpm of a 6-pole induction motor which has a slip of 6% at full load with a supply frequency of 50Hz. what will be the speed of a 4-pole alternator supplying the motor?
Synchronous speed of the motor, Ns2=120*50/6=1000rpm
Motor's speed, Nr=(1-0.06)*1000=940rpm
Speed of the alternator, Ns1=120*50/4=1500rpm
hello madam but when your solving synchronous speed my madam told me the formula is Ns is equal f/p not 120f/p why
If Ns is measured in revolutions per second then Ns=2f/P
If Ns is measured in revolutions per minute then Ns=120f/P
excellent manner of study
thanks mam.

Mam is slip and slip at full load are equal?? Or not??
mam, the speed at which the alternator runs, is it ns or nr or what's the kind of the speed, thanks very much
Induction motor and generator both run at speed Nr. Synchronous generator runs at speed Ns
Thank u mam much much helpfull to me 😊
Most welcome . Keep watching!
Very useful 🎉
Glad you think so!

it seems there are some typos. The problem is not clear to me.
Thanks you mam❤️

How to calculate slip at half load and no load?
At no load slip is nearly equals to zero. At half load slip is half of the full load slip/
So we just have devide by two?
Nicely explained 👍👍

Problem no. 5 me kya kiye ho ap....s0= 1 ya 0.01 aur agar 1 hi lena hai to sfl= 3 hona chahiye 0.03 nahi
per unit slip is 0.01 whereas percentage slip is 1. we can express slip in both ways. kindly go through your text book for the definition.
Good video miss
Thank you. Hope this has been useful for you.
Hi mis Gargi❤❤❤
Hello
@@gargibasu5111 your so cute mis gargi💋💋❤️❤️🤣
Slip 3% How
Slip=(Ns-Nr)/Ns
@@gargibasu5111 0.03 ata hai percentage
