For the rear lights, pry underneath the *length,* not the width. Prying it underneath the width makes the whole process more difficult than it should be and it increases the chances of you *puncturing the headliner* (which I just did).

Just FYI I got my bulbs from superbright LEDs. I have the 2018 golf, so no feet lights, and the trunk light is in different location. Basically you need the maps, and the back seat light and trunk light. I did not change mirror lights. Also I went blue.
Hi, could you please tell me what is the original type of the bulbs in the trunk and above the front seats (above the sun visors)? Are they c5w or c10w? Do you know what is the exact size of those? I found different info around the net. Thanks.
