- It was the day of The Summit Run and what an awesome day it was!! 😃
I got the opportunity to drive 'Angus', an ST170 powered Group 4 rally car that belongs to Aidy Curran, through the mountains and beautiful countryside of Northern Ireland, with Aidy's nephew Barry as my co-driver.
We had a couple of breakdowns AND we got lost but we had loads of fun and we all made it back safely. 👍
After that I was very lucky to spend some time with rally driver Frank Kelly. He took me for a spin in 'Baby Blue', his 355 bhp Millington powered Mk2 Escort rally car AND he even took the time to give me a walk around of the car! 👍

Not for Power. The Millington has 350bhp. A YB could only produce that with a Turbo. Also the Millington is all alloy, heck of a lot lighter than the Iron block YB!

I do indeed put alot of effort into what I do (probably a bit more than is healthy) BUT the positivity I receive from people that watch my videos makes it all worth while. If it wasn't for TH-cam I would have never been contacted by Padraig, and never would have been invited to Northern Ireland, and never would have been given the opportunity to pilot 'Angus' or meet Frank Kelly. Its a funny old world we live in. 👍

Yeh I don't think I would have been able to drive my cars so hard on some of the mountain roads! But 'Angus' has 12 inch rear wheels and handled it all no problem! . . . . . especially after we tightened the wheel nuts! 😃
