I've never used a spirit board, but I find it interesting. When I got a pendulum board, I chose one that can function as a spirit board - in addition to the regular pendulum Yes, No, etc., it also has the alphabet, numbers, months, and Zodiac signs. I haven't worked with pendulums much, though. I have two. My first Samhain altar was an ancestor altar, but since then I've gone for more of a Halloween-like vibe.
@@denisewhite1426 I haven’t used pendulums much either but I think I’m going to try and see what I think! Really I guess a spirit board isn’t much different than a pendulum and board. Definitely something to think about. I have a separate ancestor altar that I leave up all the time.
It is very refreshing to see a perfectly curated Samhain box. Personally, i have not messed around with spirit boards since 2004. I had to burn it and bury the ashes at a crossroads and cleansed the f out of the house. Enjoy Misty!👻

Love spirit boards, i find them to be a useful magickal tool to communicate effectively with spirits👻🖤💀 really liked this box, the candle was cute and penny royal mint is a wonderful plant to work with 🎃🍂🍁 thank you so much for sharing with us 💜

I think it's funny that she does burn salves, as fire is something we encounter a lot when doing our rituals, lighting candles and so forth 😂. I'm still a baby witch, and I hesitate to do ancestor work, my father passed away 22 years ago, 2 weeks before my son, his first grandchild was born. He was very old school Irish Catholic, and I know he would strongly disapprove of any of this. I'm not sure what the answer to that is. Do any of you have any thoughts/advice? Maybe I've just seen too many movies, but spirit boards kinda freak me out. I wouldn't be surprised if penny royal is in the mint family, there are several herbs that are, including catnip. Did that remind anyone else of the Nirvana song, or am I too old? 😁Thanks for the video!
@@sinsitysinderella790 lol the nails are press ons from Walmart for $4😂😂 yes if anyone needs burn salves it’s us!!😂 I do think that movies give spirit boards a bad name I mean look at the way they portray witches however I’ve also never used one either lol I do have an ancestor altar where I keep pictures and momentos of my loved ones and burn candles for them. I think we all have different beliefs but I like to believe when they pass on they see the world differently and wouldn’t see us as doing something bad because on the other side they see all and know all and know we are good people and what we do isn’t bad like some people say we are. I think they see our hearts and our true intentions and that we do things with love. But also you need to feel completely comfortable with what you are doing and your choices. You don’t have to make any decisions now. When the time is right you will know in your heart what the right thing to do is in regards to how you honor your ancestors💜💜 also which nirvana song??
Yes, a little ding would not ruin you from gifting this. I haven’t used one since jr high. I don’t object to them I just seem to attract spirits on my own so I don’t know if I should go look for them. 😂🤔🥰 Not sure what my plans are yet. I am on vacation that week. Might go to Cali and meet Gwen while I visit my son.
