The last couple of segment showtapes, namely this one and September 2013, foreshadow the act shows a lot in retrospect. The band is still performing onstage playing classic rock covers and all but each dialogue segment is part of an ongoing narrative with a serialized story and new side characters with arcs. I suppose given that Matt Daniel’s first show as director was September 2013, a larger emphasis on story was just part of his style until everything changed in 2015. It’s very interesting to look back on, anyways great video as always. Danvers couldn’t compete with Worcester or Newington but it was still a very attractive 2-stage.
