I adore that all of the Generation IV Pokemon are included in this. I wish that was done with the rest of the games set in Sinnoh but it's good something came along to include them all. :)

You’ll have to take that to a developer because I’m not one of them.
There are theories that say that the initial idea of Legends Arceus was to be a full remake of Sinnoh (it has some leftovers and some unused scenes within the game files) but it ended up becoming a completely new game, so the Pokémon Company hired ILCA to do a low-budget remake in less than a year to go along with Legends Arceus.
It's funny that Legends Arceus has improvements and new Pokémon that came in subsequent generations (like FRLG, HGSS and ORAS had) but not BDSP, for example, in Legends Arceus you can have Sylveon which is one of the evolutions of Eevee (the same for ORAS ) but not in BDSP.

The extra content should've been there before the game released. Not something you have to pay an extra $30 for just to get what should've been the base experience of the game. @@zillva, I imagine you would not apply that logic to a game with a noticeable lack of features from its predecessor like Animal Crossing New Horizons, or even SMT5 , which had Day 1 DLC BTW. Apparently, it's okay that those franchises can do it, yet Pokémon is not allowed to do it for some reason.
DLC is objectively better than a rerelease due to only having to pay a low to mid portion of a full price game; the game hypothetically being the same for the most part. This happened with Persona 5 Royal, and the majority of consumers did not complain.

I am 99% sure they will stick with the 242 pokemon. If they add more pokemon it will just increase the lenght of the gameplay loop since you would need to see/catch more pokemon in order to complete the pokedex. Or they have to change the goal of the game, for example that arceus only wants you to record most of the pokemon instead of all the pokemon, which would be an odd decision to me.
And to be honest I rather see them fix some other problems with the game rather than the number of available pokemon, 242 is fine for me.

To be honest I am not big fan of origin Dialga and Palkia (for being my favorite legendaries they could have used some more work)

Not gonna lie I was pretty damn sad learning that my favourite Pokemon: ditto wasn’t in legends arceus since the new battle system would mean ditto would be great in battles since ditto wouldn’t get KO’d the moment it transformed or just get KO’d before it could use transform
If ditto truly was in legends arceus, it would be an absolute pain in the neck to find it due to its small size and the ability to transform, let alone a shiny. Also, it will be a disaster if it's near an alpha pokemon.

Today is the day that I learned silcoon has two eyes
I’m not sure if my game/pokedex is bugged.
I have caught all Pokémon but Arceus and I can’t start the last encounter with Arceus because my Pokédex says “Seen 241 and caught 240” even though I have caught 241.
My Crimson Mirelands and Coronet Highlands aren’t stamped even though I’ve completed both those areas.
If someone can help that would be appreciated.

I don't know why... but I have a sinking feeling... If Hisui IS Sinnoh in the past and those kinds of pokémon exist back then, what would happen if those pokémon return in modern Sinnoh?? There must be some connection... I mean what happen to those pokémon, some several years later or so...?
The environment changed so hisuian pokemon changed to look like the sinnonian pokemon and evolutions got extinct because of the same thing
