I love Aldi and their fierce competitor Lidl(The bakery bread is so good.) Both are German owned by brothers, so everything is very similar. I shop at both.

@@rayofsunshine1076 Almost correct. Aldi and Lidl are not owned by brothers. Aldi is owned by the Albrecht family and Lidl is owned by the Schwarz family. Have nothing to do with each other, but they are competitors. In Germany, you can say where there is an Aldi, there is a Lidl, often across the street from each other. In Germany, there are two different Aldis, they are owned by brothers, or were, because they passed away a few years ago (they were in their late 80s/early 90s), so their kids and grandkids own the stores now. That being said, in the US, you only have one Aldi. However, the part of the family that owns the other Aldi in Germany and certain other countries does own Trader Joe's in the US.
I LOVE Aldi! I use the app hack, too! My local store offers order pick up now but they upcharge by 10%...I think it's their way of keeping prices low since staff has to shop those items.
We are blessed to always have an Aldi here. My Mom took me there as a kid but it was never the cool place to shop. I was bullied for having Aldi food in my cold lunches…not even kidding. 😢
I love Aldi!! A lot of times I put the cart away without taking the quarter back, just because there's been times I've forgotten my quarter or thought I had one and didn't and someone was kind enough to just give me their cart because they were done. I think it's nice to just pass it on, and hope someone gets it who really needed it that day
Yes! Such a great small but kind gesture that makes a difference. Today I went to Aldi and the quarter was just left in the cart already so that made me happy :)
We don't have an Aldi in my country, but I love watching people grocery shop. Having the prices below scratched an itch I didn't know I had. It's interesting to compare cost. Everything is so cheap!
Growing up we always shopped at Aldi. Always great deals! Some foods I don’t care for the off brand they have, but love most of their products. I don’t have an Aldi super close to me, but after seeing those prices compared to where I normally shop I might have to make the trip lol. It’s really only an extra 10 minute drive and probably totally worth it.
Same here growing up! And yes, I think it’s totally worth it. Mine actually isn’t the closest either, it always feels like a hassle to get there lol but it’s so worth it!
I’m weird about chicken too. The best way to cook it for me is in the crockpot. I put the whole package in with some sauce and cook it on low for at least 6 hours. When it’s done I put it on a baking sheet and brush it with same sauce and then Bake it at 425 for 5-10 mins to get a nice crispy coat on it. Everyone loves it (even my picky child) and you can change the sauce so it’s versatile and just super easy!

im inthe uk and aldi is bit cheeper but since lockdown iv noticed thingsa are quite a bit more all supermarkets have increased the prices and aldi have to and lidl
Nice video! Aldi does now add bioengineered ingredients into a lot of items idk if that bothers you, but I don’t buy things that have that evens there cottage cheese has it!
If you are intimidated by chicken, invest in an Instant Pot 6 Qt. Easiest and fast way for chicken meals. Large batch soups, Frozen meatballs too!!! Best investment! As a scratch cook, getting too old, i found the Instand pot has made it easier on me physically and on time and cleaning.
I've tried the grocery pickup from Aldi before and I personally don't like it. They use instacart to do it but the difference is that you can't chat with the shopper and they don't always get what you want right. Otherwise I would totally use it! They also up-charge too I think. So going in has save me money and disappointment lol
@@glorybrooks that’s good to know! I just recently found out we have an Aldi in our area & was surprised they did pick up so I’ll give your method a try :)
We get a lot of stuff from Aldi. Some stuff is really good! Never heard of it till I moved to the Midwest. And sometimes I rather go there than Walmart. Cause I’m not a huge fan of them. lol great video as always!! 🤗🫶🏻
I really enjoy these shopping videos! If you have one near you, you should definitely try shopping at LIDL. It's very similar to ALDI. Both are a German discount retailer chain and they're actually each other's number one competitors here in Europe. LIDL is also a bit more cheaper than ALDI.
I love going to Aldi's and I do doordash from my shopping from Aldi's. Gloria if you look guacamole try the guacamoles pineapple southwestern dip with the Pit parmesan chips oh so good. I did a video for the dip and chips I haven't post it yet too tiktok 😂 but you should try them and with my tofu I did tacos plus the turkey meat for the rest of my family. Also ground turkey you can make turkey balls and bake them in the stove get you some brown gravy and how you some rice and some veggies on the side and their go to your dinner

im inthe uk and aldi is bit cheeper but since lockdown iv noticed thingsa are quite a bit more all supermarkets have increased the prices and aldi have to and lidl
As a scratch cook, getting too old, i found the Instand pot has made it easier on me physically and on time and cleaning.
you can order grocery pick up from Aldi and maybe do that instead of instacart?
I've tried the grocery pickup from Aldi before and I personally don't like it. They use instacart to do it but the difference is that you can't chat with the shopper and they don't always get what you want right. Otherwise I would totally use it! They also up-charge too I think. So going in has save me money and disappointment lol
@@glorybrooks that’s good to know! I just recently found out we have an Aldi in our area & was surprised they did pick up so I’ll give your method a try :)
lol I definitely write a list and forget to check then have to run all around after too 😂
Here where I live (in ca) groceries are double the price. A dozen eggs are $6
We get a lot of stuff from Aldi. Some stuff is really good! Never heard of it till I moved to the Midwest. And sometimes I rather go there than Walmart. Cause I’m not a huge fan of them. lol great video as always!! 🤗🫶🏻
Yes! Some stuff is Aldi specific that is really good but I also shop at other places too because they don’t always have everything I want. Thank you!
I really enjoy these shopping videos!
If you have one near you, you should definitely try shopping at LIDL. It's very similar to ALDI. Both are a German discount retailer chain and they're actually each other's number one competitors here in Europe. LIDL is also a bit more cheaper than ALDI.
I’m glad you mentioned that because I’ve always wanted to try LIDL and there’s a few in the area!!!!
I loveeee those garlic knots!!!
Love that hummus sandwich. No meat, sounds delicious!
It’s pretty good! I always try to change it up a little but I try to copy the Panera one because I loveeee it
I love Aldi 👍👍😊
I love these videos ❤!!!
I find chicken tenders to be easier to cook than chicken breast if you don't want to go for the thighs.
Aldi and Lidl are the best!
I used to instacart from Aldi all the time but I definitely save going in person. But delivery is very nice too haha. And oooooh I love guacamole and that sounds amazing!!!!
@@glorybrooks yeah I like going in too the store as well but I no longer have a car. But thank you for posting the video love you content on here and your main channel lol I noticed I spell something wrong at the top but I'm glad you understand me thank you.
I think the Aldi refrigerated cinnamon rolls taste much better than Pillsbury. I can't wait until they get their seasonal macaroni salad in .... its amazing
I love Aldi, I have a family of 6 and we can get so much food for our family and not spend much money
Exactly!!!! I love that so much and even feel good about the quality of food too so it’s a win win for sure :)
Great video❤❤
I love Aldi for their Fruit and Nut chocolate bars! Also if I need to get some more things I also grab some chips! If you like mango juice they make a good one as well!
Have you tried Lidl? That’s my go to for chips as well! I also like their yogurt!
I love Aldi... it's so clean😂
