    Hi Painless360!
    So glad I found you! I've been beating my head against a wall trying to get my Crius AIO Pro V.2 to work. I'm going to start from scratch and start over. Redo firmware and everything. You have made me realize this stuff actually works! Thanks!!!!

    Sorry to keep asking daft questions, my i6 RX is 5 volts but my 3s battery is 12 volts. Since the RX gets its power from the flight board am I right in assuming the Multiwii flight board has a bec to reduce the voltage, as the board also has 2 pins which say 5v which I would like to use for a 4.5v led headlight or would it not be wise to take a load from this point. Thanks.

    Hi.
    In the diagram shown in 7:14 it does not show the configuration of a H-frame, I plan to build my first Quadcopter in an H-configuration. Should I treat it as an X-Config or is there a special config for it ? Thanks!

    I have a question, do you have to have the aux connected or is throttle, ail, rud, and elv enough? I dont have an aux on my receiver.
    My motors are calibrated but they just dont arm :( i have a spectrum dx5e and a spectrum receiver but the motors just wont arm with the multiwii, i dont know whats wrong...

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would strongly recommend that you get a five channel receiver for any Multiwii based flight controller. You need to be able to control and select the flight mode that you are in. I'm not sure if the lack of an Aux will stop it arming but this video might help - th-cam.com/video/lc4ECi6JYX4/w-d-xo.html

    Painless360 thanks a lot for your last tip! I now have my multiwii megapirate board ARMED and all the stick functions are correct!! The only problem I'm having is that it doesn't arm/unarm by turning the throttle stick to the right/left at bottom position. In my case it'll arm as soon as I give like 15% throttle on the throttle stick. And after it has been armed the motors will idle even at 0 throttle input... I also can't find a way to unarm it.
    Again thanks a BUNCH for the help that you've already given me!!

      You can try a few things (after that I've not got enough experience to guess!) you can try performing a ACC calibration and a MAG calibration and/or selecting #define CRIUS_AIO_PRO_V1 in the code.. Best of luck!

    • @brucehitzfield5078
      @brucehitzfield5078 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ACC calibration just defines the board's (level) position... MAG calibration I'm still lost on what that does.
      As for defining the CRIUS_AIO_PRO_V1 I get a programing error. I referred to this in one of my previous comments.

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bruce Hitzfield If the board doesn't think it's level then it won't arm. RCgroups forums may be a good place to have a look in. I hope you get this sorted soon. Happy flying!

      If your using the windows GUI then check that the boxes that assign function to your AUX1 swithing arrangement,you'll find that having the Low box checked for acro mode takes over the arming process but reading your question again I believe that "Painless360" is right in that the RCGroups site will be the place for you.The guys there are great with the MW stuff.The MAG calibration is a way of letting the chip know which way is which.You press it and rotate the copter through all axises eg: roll,flip and stand on bum and rotate (hope you know what I mean?) BUT! this has to happen within 30 seconds of pressing the calibration button ok,so try it a few times because if like me you only have a short length of wire connecting the FTDI to the copter then it takes a little working out OK.....Good luch with it and enjoy the flying

    I found the adapter. Thanks! Next newbie questiion: Me receiver has the ports labeled: bat, and channels 1-6. Would these necessarily correspond to the channel numbers on the Multiwii, or is that way too simple for me to comprehend. The transmitter is a Flysky T6. Thanks for all your help!

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need to look at the manual for the radio. Each of the receiver channels relates to one of the channels on the radio - Elevator, Throttle, Aileron, Rudder etc. With the newer radios where you can decide which channel does what it can make it more complicated than it needs to be. With some radio systems they still mark up the receiver with the default channel to make connections faster.
      Hope this helps.

      Painless360 Many thanks! After much googling, I managed to hook everything up, hopefully correctly. I calibrated the ESCs and I am ready to program the board. I have already watched your video on that topic. I am a complete beginner when it comes to electronics and I purchased a kit from China with no instructions and that was missing most of the screws and stand offs. I love a puzzle.

      Only is they are linear UBECs on the ESCs. See How to connect the power system (ESC, BEC and power board) in your multirotor/quadcopter and How to connect OPTO ESCs and a BEC to you multirotor (KK2.0 or MWC) for more help. Let me know if it's still not clear. Happy flying!

    Hi. I did try it on the grass. Manage to fly but still driftting fast to a side. Im not quite sure which side as it goes very fast drift and flip to the ground. I have checked all my motors and props. Its all installed correctly. I feels like 2 of my motors not getting much power compare the other 2. I might wrong in this. My question now is do i need to auto level the multiwii using the computer? And trim auto level after that? Im so sorry coz im newbie and just started to get into this as new hobby. Thanks in advance!

      Hi Emo, if that is all ok then recheck that the artificial horizon in the MultiWiiConf responds as you'd expect and reset the accelerometers..
      I'd also manually recalibrate the ESCs again too, just to be safe.
      Hope it helps.

    Hey Painless360, I bought a Multiwii and Megapirate v2.0 AIO board which is similar to the one in this video. Now I have have come upon the problem of how to connect my receiver to the actual board. My receiver has a +,-, and GND pin, so my question is, does it matter which of the channels is connected via the positive, negative, or ground wires? You seemed to just make sure each of them were color coordinated based upon the input into your MultiWii board.

    Pretty cool, used your videos to base my first setup on my quad :)
    My next step is to see if I can get it working with my Frsky D4R-II using PPM, seems to be something we can config on config.h as well.
    I assume the first 3 pins will carry the whole signal (+, - and D2 right?) Have you tried?

    Hello, I own an old drone which has a crius multiwii se 2.5 mounted on it. It has connected a PWM receiver. I build it some years ago with the inestimable help of your playlist of videos about Crius Multiwii. I recently released a PPM receiver from another drone. Do you know where must I wire a PPM receiver to the Multiwii and how to setup in arduino? Thanks

    Hi! great video !
    I use the same board as shown in the video. I flight several times without crashing my quadcopter :)
    I have one question:
    Why do you connect all ESCs with all 3 cables (black, red, white ) to your multiwii?
    I read somewhere I have to connect only 1 red cable of all 4 ESCs to multiwii, the other 3 red cables are left over, isolated. To avoid too high voltage on the flight controller? I wired that so in my quad an it is working, but what is the difference? Is that true what I read?
    I hope you answer my question.
    Greetings from Austria :)

    I'm having problems with my board: it seems to work as it is supposed to until I put on props and try to fly. The motors just start twitching, stuttering, and acting abnormally unless I dismount the multiwii and completely oscillate it from the vibrations of the craft. I did the best I could at balancing the props, what could be causing the issues?

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've had this problem and its been two separate issues here.
      The first is that I'd flashed the ESCs with SimonK firmware and there was a bug in the KK tool that loaded the wrong firmware onto the ESCs. If you've loaded the firmware yourself - update and reload and check the versions you are using have no known issues. (Problems with HobbyKing 20A ESC after flashing with of SimonK firmware V2013-9-20 - Solution)
      Second problem was due to harmonics in the frame/arms that the MWC didn't like. I used the LPF settings in CONFIG.H to remove these and fly normally.
      Hope one of these is your issue and gets you flying. If not schedule a Helpout and we can take a closer look.

    • @power-max
      @power-max 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Painless360 What is LDF? Is it software-dampening? I did try to tape the FC to a bit of foam, but it did not help until I grabbed the FC and then the props ran smoothly.
      I did not flash the ESCs with any firmware and they run smoothly with propellers (If I snap it up to near-max throttle, they buzzing/vibrating noises from I suppose unbalanced props and crap motors.) Nonetheless it seems like the ESC does what it is supposed to.

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OK, sounds like you need to balance the props and motors as the vibration is too much for the controller, even with a mount. The LPF (not LDF) is a software low pass filter that removes unwanted interference in the gyro/accelerometers. I've had to do it a few times myself to get the board to handle the frame ok.
      From the config.h section on LPF -
      "MPU6050 Low pass filter setting. In case you cannot eliminate all vibrations to the Gyro, you can try
      to decrease the LPF frequency, only one step per try. As soon as twitching gone, stick with that setting.
      It will not help on feedback wobbles, so change only when copter is randomly twitching and all dampening and
      balancing options ran out. Uncomment only one option!
      IMPORTANT! Change low pass filter setting changes PID behaviour, so retune your PID's after changing LPF."
      Try uncommenting #define MPU6050_LPF_188HZ first and if it doesn't work try the next one down until you get it.
      I think I'll make a video on this as it is very handy to know..

    • @power-max
      @power-max 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Painless360 I've just bought a magnetic balancer it will take some time to arrive, in the mean time I think I will try that LDF settings! I sound them in the code and uncommented the 2nd one down.
      I did attempt to balance the props by press-fitting a smooth round pencil into the middle, and letting it balance on the edge of my table. I then added tape to the heavier side until the heavier blade no longer preferred to swing down. I also tried balancing the base with electrical tape, but on some blades I could not get it to balance nicely, at least not with tape.
      How much vibration should I expect coming from a decent setup? I just downloaded an vibration meter to my phone to see if I can quantify the vibration from the motors and props.

    • @power-max
      @power-max 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Painless360 In case I do need to flash SimonK firmware to the ESCs, do I need that programer shown in the video? Or can I use the FTDI adaptor? I also have a spare arduino MEGA which can probably be configured to flash other chips. I saw a video where thats what was used to flash one of those ATtiny85 chips.

      Painless360 Thanks. The next question is how to tell if its a linear or switching BEC. There seems to be a bit of confusion (on the net). I gather that UBEC's/SBEC are switching ( non linear) ( for example the HK 20A blue series we often see in your vids).
      I am currently building with some EMAX 12A Simon series ( not to be confused with SimonK) and it would seem they are linear but how to be sure
      www.emaxmodel.com/views.asp?hw_id=1434
      My guess is they are linear but if the magic smoke comes out itll be your fault :-)
      Thanks for your great vid series that's saved me hours of hunting around the net & reading ( when i should be flying)

      The best performance from the quadcopter will come when using ESCs that are running special firmware that improves how quickly they respond the changes. This is what SimonK firmware does. It will fly without it. See my video th-cam.com/video/Sjwi_UnCLWc/w-d-xo.html fro a few ideas on motor selections..

    I did as you explain but the receiver doesn´t work it shows a red and blue light, i don´t find any information online that explains what it means. But if i connect the signal D2 to the receiver Throttle and connect the + and - from the receiver to the pins where i connect my ESC/BEC in the crius it works ok. Do i have a damage crius board or do i do something wrong ? I get 4.6V in all the +5V pins from the board is it to low voltage? Do i have any component that is damage?
    Thanks ...

      +Toze Freitas Not sure what you mean, if you've connected the power the wrong way then you have probably damaged something.. Best of luck!

    • @antonio.freitas
      @antonio.freitas 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was trying to say is that if i use the throttle pinout to send signal and power to the receveir the receiver doesn´t work. If I power the receiver using the pinout from the ESC/BEC for exempel D12 the receiver starts and everythign is ok ... I don´t understand why i can´t get it to work the same way as you mentioned in your video.

    • @antonio.freitas

      +Painless360 Thanks !
      Just a small question, I resolve my power receiver issue by fetching power from the D12 pinout so far so good.
      I calibrate and made the confirguration to my ESC (via transmitter), balance my props, correct rotation and CW CCW prop in the correct motor (QUAD X).
      Now when i test it the quad doesn´t have enought power to lift.
      If i try only one engine/ESC directly connected to receiver (NO CIRUS) I get a lot of power from engine but when i connect the receiver and the Engine/ESC to the CRIUS I don´t get that much power as directly to the receiver.
      I´m having "juice" problems. It can´t be a battery problem (Lipo 3S 1100mah 35-50C) otherwise it should perform the same with or without CRIUS.
      Is it some confirguration that i´m missing? Is it something worn with the CRIUS board that are giving me the same power problem with the receiver and now with the ESC?
      What do you think it can be ?
      thank you very much.

    Hi. Thanks for all your video. I just finished build my 1st quad. My 1st flight was not smooth at all. It goes flip at one side as if 1 or 2 of the motors is not power enough to take off. If it flys it will drift at a side quite fast and flip. Can you help me how to solve this? Hope to fly smoothly before i breaks the props :((

      Hope this helps..

      Hi, thanks for your reply. I've checked all my motors, they are all connected correctly and the props are installed as they supposed to be. I manage to fly it at about 2 feets and the moment its start to fly, its drift to a side. Will try it again on a grass so that they won't crash badly. Earlier i was trying on a hard floor.

    The problem is that it doesnt take any command on the sheet you sent me, no command is transmitted :( the multiwii is beebing and the receiver is steady, when i take th motor apart and plug them into the reveiver on the trottle they all work.. So that means the problem is the multiwii??

    • @Painless360

      Sounds like you've missed something basic. I would connect back to the board using the FTDI connector and reset the MAG and CCC using MultiWiiConf and then try again.
      If that fails then re-flash the board..

      Hi Mark, if you have successfully downloaded the software to the board (and can see it using MultiWiiConf) then the bootloader isn't needed as the board is configured.Check out my video about troubleshooting arming called 'Multiwii Arming' (@watch?v=lc4ECi6JYX4&list=PLYsWjANuAm4qSqszQR6qIisiwk5r-_nMk&index=6) that may help.Good luck with the problem.

    Awesome video, I have the 2.5 Crius board and the one thing I have yet to figure out is the AUX channels. When I have multiwiiconf running and then I flip my Flap/Gyro switch, I see nothing in multiwiiconf, no values at all ... I have an OrangeRX T-Six and already found another video for setting up the Flap switch and for the transmitter monitor the switch movements in real time, which work on the transmitter, I see arrows moving. On the Crius board, I have AUX1 connected from myR615X receiver (signal cable) to the Crius board on the AUX1 pinout ... Googled all around the world and still can't find any extra information at all as was wondering, with all of your quad expertise, whether you have any ideas on this problem sir! Any help would be massively appreciated! Keep up the good work!

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The easiest way to check is to plug a servo into the connection on the Rx and check it moves as you change the values on the channel. I've found that I had to plug the aux connection from the Multiwii into the AUX1 port on the Rx to pick up the changes in the channel values from the mode switch (I use a Heli setup).
      Not sure if that helps. Pictures and videos of how you have it setup would help..

      Hi Painless360, thanks for the advice :) I had to flash the Crius board v2.5 with the Crius v2.0 selected in the config.h file as selecting the CRIUS_SE (As recommended in the v2.5 manual) did not work, I suddenly had no sensors! I then configured the ESCs to correct wrong erratic motor speeds. I think the board just needed re-flashing. I then configured the ACC followed by MAG in Multiwiiconf. Now I just have a massive drifting problem and trying to guess the PID (start with 0 and work my way up using the holding over head method) as there's not really many examples for a good PID out there for an X525 ... The amount of trim I need to put on the transmitter is insane at the moment. I ordered another FC just incase the FC still has some issue ...

      I'll get some pictures together though, just in case you notice something massively wrong in the setup ... The Quad has been configured as ACRO (plane) on my OrangeRX T-SIX transmitter ... By recommendation of other RCForum posts that I have read ...

      Hi, it's never helpful when the manufacturer doesn't mark the receiver! The detail you are after looks like it is in the files section at the bottom of this page - www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9042__Hobby_King_2_4Ghz_6Ch_Tx_Rx_V2_Mode_2_.html
      Look for the file called 'Channels' you can always check this when you first connect the Multiwii to the MultiWiiConf interface. Check that the channel you are moving is the one changing on the display. Bets of luck with the build.

      Mine was the same way, I used my oscilloscope and probed everything out, and figured out what channel was what. You could also connect the esc directly to the fifteen channels and then plug in the LiPo and see which gimbal controls the motor. No need to arm in the direct receiver-to-ESC connection.

    I guess I need some more expert help here..
    My quad was sitting around for about a week and now when I try to fly it it it won't take off.
    The strange thing is that Yaw, Pitch and Roll are responsive but Throttle only gives out a little more speed. The quad stays on the ground. I re-flashed the board, re-calibrated the ESCs with the software and the Tx, tried out a "clean" new MultiWii code, even switched the board, but nothing helped.
    I looked at the GUI and all the signals to the ESCs are normal.
    Any ideas?

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do the ESCs work normally when pugged directly into the throttle channel of the Rx?
      If you can see the throttle rise in the code then the MWC and Tx should be fine. Obvious question but I've got to ask - anything changed on the bird since it flew normally last time?

    • @yoraish
      @yoraish 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was what I thought as well.
      Nothing changed since yesterday.. Yesterday was good, but today no fly :/ .
      ESCs work normally when directly connected to Rx.

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      If that works then I could be a bad connection in the power system/battery connection. If all four motors have the same problem then I'd check the battery, connector and connection to the power distribution board..

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most OSDs come with an integral GPS already so it depends on the one you are going to use - there are lots to choose from.
      I have videos for the EzOSD that is excellent..

    • @Azer831
      @Azer831 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Painless360 what do you mean integrated? I have been looking at some OSDs on Hobby King and most of them do come with a GPS module that comes with it but it is not integrated in the OSD board itself, it connects to the OSD board. So is that what you mean when you said integrated? So my questions is. Do I need the GPS for the control board to use features like altitude hold and return to home and another GPS module compatible with the OSD board? All I want the OSD is just so that I can get basic info like battery, altitude, and coordinates of quadcopter location in case if I lose it. I will be getting Multiwii and Megapirate AIO Flight Controller w/FTDI (ATmega 2560) V2.0 for my control board on my quadcopter. Thanks

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry I've not used the ones you mention.
      I use the ones that come with the GPS as part of the device - all ready to go. I'm very impressed with the ImmersionRC OSD devices - you get what you pay for and the EzOSD has already saved me £400 by allowing me to walk directly to a downed quad (crash-landed in the middle of a planted field). I'd have had no chance if I hadn't been using it with the iPhone app to track location in real time.
      For the ones you describe I would guess you need two GPS receivers - one for each. Unless you can split the signal from one unit and get both the MWC and OSD to expect the same baud rate and protocol from the GPS Rx. If you figure it out I'd like to know how you got it all working with one.
      Good luck, happy flying..

    Hello Mr Painless, I have to tell you how much help you are giving me in setting this board up. I am only as far as plugging in motors, esc's and board. prier to that I was able to separately run the motors for the right direction.
    Q#1 My receiver has1-6 +battery symbols only. yours has names for what there for. I did try to just run up with my numbers. nothing seems to work at all. the board lights do go on initial plug in, But then nothing happens? No response from joy sticks. So I can tell you this.
    #1 The remote is bound with receiver
    #2 The connecters are joined with board and (numbered?) receiver.
    #3 The connecters are joined with esc's and board.

      The numbers on the receiver will correspond to the channels - you need to read the documentation that came with the radio/receiver to see which of the numbers is the throttle, rudder etc.
      Best of luck.

      But I can tell you that I have spent all day and night watching you video's till I discovered that I've been watching all but 1, The very 1st one of your about FTDi adapter. Dummy me! Painless360 Please help Mr. Painless, I did order and received and that device you plug into the board and computer and followed trough your 1st vid. (all good) I now have all the plugs connected according to your 2nd vid. And at the end of that vid, You mention to go ahead and plug it back into the computer to program it again? Could you tell me what I am programing? I cant find a Vid of yours about that part. P.S. I am not even getting the throttle to run like you did after you hooked up your receiver to your board? Thank you so much. Kazz.

      If the board has already been programmed then you don't need to do that BUT you do need to check the channels are all working, the MAG and ACC are calibrated and you can see the board moving in the right way in MultiWiiConf.

    I tested my receiver to my transmitter and it works fine but when I wired the receiver into my MW board I get no responses. Am I to do something in the config.h settings? I am using a dragon link receiver.

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That should all be sorted in the config.h already. Have you checked that you can see a servo move when it's plugged directly into the channels on the Rx (troubleshoot without the MWC to start with)?
      If so then use the MultiwiiConf program to see if you can see the values moving on the screen as you move the sticks.

    • @kenpappas9520
      @kenpappas9520 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Painless360 I successfully binded my transmitter to my receiver (Dragonlink) then I connected a servo to my receiver and it works. When I connect my receiver to my MW board, I get no responses, even in the MWGUI tool. I move my sticks but nothing seems to happen. I am using the Turnigy Open9x.

      You are arming the board? (Usually throttle. Stick to the bottom right)?

    • @kenpappas9520
      @kenpappas9520 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      In order to 'arm' the board as you describe. What needs to be set in config.h ??
      when I take a voltage measurement at the FC pins to the ESC's, when the throttle is full I get minus 5 volts and when I put the throttle off I get plus five volts. This does not sound right. This is across the RED and BLACK pins.

      The power for the board (+5v) is usually supplied via the red cable that comes as part of the servo lead from the ESCs that power the motors. You may find this video useful - th-cam.com/video/-gOupB8xnlM/w-d-xo.html

    Hi,
    I saw you videos and they helped me a lot!!
    So first thank you for making them.
    I have some problems with my Multiwii SE V2.5 quad and I thought you might be able to help me solve them.
    When I try to power up the motors, one ESC stays "off". It only engages at high speed demand.
    After I checked I found out that the problem is in the board pin D11 output, as all the motors and ESCs are fine.
    How can I solve that problem? Maybe a software malfunction? Can I control the motor using other pins?
    Thanks!!
    yoraish

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How do you know that pin 11 is the issue? Have you swapped two of the ESCs over and the problem stayed with the one plugged into D11?
      If that is the case then check for poor solder connections on the D11 connector, re-flash the board with the software and if that doesn't work then clear the EEPROM and re-flash the board. If all that fails then the board may be kaput.
      If you swap the two ESCs as above and the problem stays with the ESC that was plugged into D11 then recalibrate the throttle range on that ESC and see if that helps..
      Good luck!

    Hello bro,
    I am making a quadcopter using the following parts
    1)hextronik nanowii V01 from HK site
    2)multistar motor type 2213 935KV
    3)10*45 propeller
    4)3 cell 3000mAh tunigy battery
    5)turnigy plush 30Amps*2 for two motors and 25Amps*2 for the other motors
    6)Flysky controller model FS-CT6B.
    So far I have fully assembled my quad all the motor direction and all connections are correct.I used multiwii to program my nanowii controller,so i have set as #define MINTHROTTLE 1150 and #define MAXTHROTTLE 2000 also i calibrated my ESC initially using the #define ESC_CALIB_CANNOT_FLY command in the config.h of the multiwii.ino,but I am facing a problem.
    After I arm the motors and star to raise my throttler one of my motors(rear-right) is staying constant at 1150 for a while while the other three motors raise up.After sometime the fourth motor(rear-right) also increase and at full throttle three motors are running at 1960rpm while the fourth motor(rear right motor) runs at 1660rpm(as seen from the multiwii GUI). Even during the flight it has terrible problems during take off in fact it is not taking off since three motors are at a higher throttle it tumbles over rapidly. Please Help..

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      First of all using different ESCs are not a great idea. You ideally need to use the same ESC with identical firmware on each of the arms.
      Secondly, calibrate each of the ESCs separately - I've had mixed results using the 'inbuilt' ESC calibration routines on some controllers. See th-cam.com/video/OOplk52R4no/w-d-xo.html on how to do it.
      Finally, I will delete all the other identical comments on the other videos. No need to post a question three times.
      Good luck with the problem. Happy flying!

    • @vickylance
      @vickylance 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your advice ... Sorry I had to do it because this is my college project and I am planning to make it autonomous. But just flying it manually is so strenuous and I had limited time so had paste the same question :( to get a quick response. didn't knew all three videos were yours :( sorry.
      will try the method you mentioned and will let you know.

    • @vickylance
      @vickylance 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Painless360 I followed your other tutorial on how to calibrate the escs separately and it helped in one way that when I used the auto calibration it required me to increase the throttle a bit before the escs start and power the motor but now just as soon as I start to increase the throttle the motor starts and the motor reaches the highest speed, But that didn't solve the problem.
      here is my observation .
      1)I disconnected all the escs from the board (just to check what the output is my board giving out when the quad is in flat position, anyways connecting the ecss is not changing any value the controller outputs).
      2)connected my controller to my computer and all the receiver connections are connected on the board.
      3)So when I increase the throttle on my controller I observed in the multiwii GUI that the output from the board is not increasing the same and the problem is not solved and it is just as stated before.
      "After I arm the motors and star to raise my throttler one of my motors(rear-right) is staying constant at 1150 for a while while the other three motors raise up.After sometime the fourth motor(rear-right) also increase and at full throttle three motors are running at 1960rpm while the fourth motor(rear right motor) runs at 1660rpm(as seen from the multiwii GUI). Even during the flight it has terrible problems during take off in fact it is not taking off since three motors are at a higher throttle it tumbles over rapidly. Please Help.."
      4)Also I saw that changing the YAW calibration on the controller by sliding makes the controller output go crazy i.e. now instead of one motor now two motors are not increasing for a while.
      5)The same goes for other calibrations on the controller so I suspect that the problem is with the controller configuration and not the board . Also I am not sure if the using the two different types of ratings esc is the real problem (if it is the real problem please let me know). So do you have any tutorials on calibrating the controller?

    • @vickylance
      @vickylance 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Painless360 yup I tried real hover and just as I increase the throttle three motors run faster I suppose because every time it topples in the same arm damaging the blade of that particular motor bit by bit.
