Some problems I encountered with running keter pile: With cerrgaon, you can look at top two, put one to hand, put one to bottom. Optimal play is usually add units to hand, put triggers back to bottom. However, that would just be stacking triggers at the bottom of the deck. The only real way to shuffle the deck after is proccing Teithfallt's skill AFTER playing the wisdom order, which if done mid to late game just brings us closer to deck out, and isn't really necessary if we have a good board already.
Deck is a lot of fun! First locals I attended with the new set ended up with Alden vs Alden for the final round top table. Also, the Alden booster having the mandatory soul charge is rough, but it is what it is
There was a cool toolbox variant with Reverence Rush Dragon floating around. But would be cool to see a "budget" or rather a list that doesn't run keter pile anyway
I've been considering Alden recently since the Set 4 core seems to be pretty cheap. As much as I've enjoyed playing Rezael, I'm getting kinda bored rezzing Cerrgaon all the time 😅 Keter package fits well with the deck's resource usage, atleast Cerrgaon is more of a one and done thing per copy. Also deck hits BIG NUMBERS which I can always get behind.
Interesting built but some poeple play the duo nation which is keter and brandt gate unit the grade 2 can search ermec very fast in early game in turn 3 plus with the sleeping warrior order card also so i not sure is it good or not but i need to try to playtest first instead of theithfalth and wisdom order card but this is my idea
@NexusCorps yes ,I see lot of decks playing keter pile as the go to but with everyone picking it up and causing a play set of the cards to sky rocket so I would like to see more options instead please and thank you
I initially tried other builds using the Brandt/Keter dual nation card and the Warrior's Rest order but they made the deck feel so much weaker. The 20k power of Tiethfallt works very well with the 10k bonus power of Alden to pressure the opponent if you don't have a Ermac to call, or as a solid restand target for Razionel. She especially works great with the deck. Wisdom triggering Ermac's +15k is an awesome bonus too, so it is a very good order for the deck. Do roll your eyes if you want, but it is the best way to build the deck and actually has great synergy with the cards. It isn't just thrown in.
Mfw the deck that's supposed to focus on spamming good RGs spams good RGs. Why are you complaining that someone is running the optimal cards for a deck they wanna win with? It'd be ten times more boring if every Keter deck ran the same less impactful in-archetype cards considering some of them do close to nothing sometimes.
If you watch to the end of the video, I acknowledge that this is using the same core as pretty much every other Keter deck, but the goal is optimization, not being unique. There are other unique Alden builds I’m interested in trying, but so far this has had the best results.
Alden synergizes with the Keter pile really well because it covers the weaknesses of the Keter pile. 1) If you don’t see both Teithfallt and Wisdom, you’re pretty sad. Tranquilla (G1 in the ride line) can search either of them, making it more consistent. 2) If you have to call stuff like triggers or PG’s off of wisdom or Teithfallt, you’re pretty sad. Alden lets you bounce those back to your hand. There are definitely decks that don’t want Keter pile. For example, I thought Keter pile was bad in Luard when it was still legal. But, there are some decks it makes sense in, and this is one of them.
Keter Pile needs to be adressed because every Keter deck looking the exact same makes Keter decks extremely boring to look at or play against not to mention it also makes Keter horribly inaccessible unless you had a crystal ball to look into the future and get all the pieces back in the past before they spiked in price so badly.

keter pile fixes any deck

Where do u get the playmat
Its the uni mat from Duel Spec
You can get a 10% discount too when you use code NEXUS
Yea, we want the budget version plz
What would u recommend to use if someone can't get the keter pile cards?
Would you be interested in a “budget” variant or another optimal deck that uses expensive cards that aren’t Teithfalt and Wisdom of Beginning?
@NexusCorps yes ,I see lot of decks playing keter pile as the go to but with everyone picking it up and causing a play set of the cards to sky rocket so I would like to see more options instead please and thank you
Is Destined Alden better than Bastion Accord?
No
Yes
Lol.
Dwagon
Keter pile featuring an aldean vanguard, bold , brave
People out here with Forefront Knights and Cerrgaons while I'm still using Drilling Angel and Painkiller Angel. Must be nice...
New Keter deck comes out
Keter players immediately turn it into yet another boring pile deck.
Proceeds to roll eyes.
