This is a Warhammer 40k Battle Report between the Adeptus Custodes vs the Necrons. I will be using the Shield Host Detachment while NecronMike will be using the Canoptek Court. The last Leviathan match before we switch to Pariah Nexus.
Another really fun game. I used 3 Dreadnoughts in the Custodes list, including the Telemon.
Really interesting how this game played out. Great way to send of Leviathan.

Gods I wish we had a dreadnaught detachment because they look amazing on the field instead of on a shelf
I was so looking forward to a reason to use them a bit more too. They are so darn slow!
@@HubtownHammer what would you change to make them viable in the current detachments? Also how do you like the Venatari now?
I just played a game against orks speed freaks. With my friends I took
2 blade champs
2 5 man guards , 1 sword and shield each
2 caladius grave tanks
1 Achilles dread naught
1 Galatus dread naughty
1 telemon heavy dread naught
2 3 man venatari...
Shield host detachment
My friend conceded turn 3 didn't even finish his turn
1990 points no enhancements , crits on 5's just slaps so hard
That looks like a lot of fun with the new Shield Host Rules

What would you change about this list to make it max optimal competitive sweaty, forgeworld included
I would change quite a bit now. I have 2 lists I want to try out. One has 12 Venatari. I will put a video out this week after Auric video going over all the spicey ways to play Shield Host now.
@@HubtownHammer yeah. Auric fields like the allarus detachment to me cause of the inherent shooting buff. Shield host is striking me as venatari and wardens
