I’m so very grateful for this teaching! It is both educational and faith building! Thank you for sharing.
Is there a book or booklist that is recommended for this material?

39:03 those were not revised copies of the Septuagint. It was Jewish attempts to do away with the Septuagint. It was Hebrew proselytes who made new greek translations into greek using the hebrew of their day.

If you want to find out about the bible, do not start with religious sources first. Look to find answers. Don't start with an answer and then look back to see what supports it.

Not sure "why" has a place in this question, other than because it was the language of the time AND place AND people. Why are you writing this question in English? Most likely, because it is the language you were born into.
But .... maybe it goes deeper than that. Much of the Old Testament is rooted in stories that existed BEFORE Hebrew. Sumerian stories such as the Enuma Elish were written in cuneiform; the Atra-Hasis in Akkadian, and the Epic of Gilgamesh. There is a significant overlap in these older stories and the Old Testament (the ark was in Gilgamesh, the creation myth was in Atra-Hasis and Enuma Elish, flood myths in all three).
Maybe start there and look at it from a tribal nomadic perspective with linguistic unraveling and then you'll probably land on Hebrew as the language of the time and place.

After Alexander, from 250 BC until 100 AD Hellenistic Judaism (Sanhedrin, pharisees, Saducees) mostly used the Septuagint. After Jesus' crucifixion and the destruction of the temple by the Romans, the hebrew canon of books was modified to thwart conversions to Christianity. Bottom line: protestants are not using the same version of books that Jesus and the apostles used. And if Jesus didn't exist, why the need to change the books.

Such a moronic statement. Jews didn’t consider the deuterocanonical books as inspired.
Thy were part of the Septuagint but everyone knew they were not inspired.

Whatever version you choose to read, the message is clear:
Yehoshua is our cohen gadol, our great high priest 🌺🌺🌺
Yehoshua fulfilled all 4 of the spring moedim when he came the first time and he will fulfill the fall moedim when he returns
ALL FOUR! Not just Pesach aka passover ... and don't forget about the four days of inspection which began on - you guessed it! The 10th day of the first month aka "palm sunday"🙌
My choice is often the MLV
MLV My Loose Version - a mixture of KJV, NIV, catholic and
baptist hymns, maybe some Shakespeare or Mark Twain thrown in for good measure ... oh and the MLV hardly ever has chapter and verse references, and if it has a book reference, it's often the wrong one
    🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
All praise honor and glory to the Father of Lights!!!

First of all, it is NOT the old testament which is an incorrect and anti-semitic. There are two and only two names for my bible. It is the Hebrew Bible or the Tanakh which is an acronym. All other names are wrong.

try not to enable the Jews, who in AD 90
removed 7 books from their Bible canon. Luther followed suit.saying "we must reject these because we no longer have the original manuscripts to check the Greek"

The chart presented shows the Masoretic text was derived from the Babylonian Hebrew recension. However, it was transcribed after the first coming of the Messiah. There is a bias in the Masoretic Torah. It shows in the genealogy of Shem with six missing Qoph letters which makes Shem alive when Abraham was born and that it was Shem who was Melchesedek who blessed Abraham with the bread and wine and the receiving of Abraham's tithe. Therefore, rabbis would say Jesus/Yeshua could not be high priest of the order of Melchesedek. But the other Hebrew texts such as the Samaritan Pentateuch and the LXX shows the 600 years were in the generations of Shem so that Shem died 500 years before Abraham was born. In addition, Flavius Josephus in his works also indicated the 600 years in the genealogy of Shem. A matter cannot be established but by two or three witnesses. God has preserved His Truth in the Scriptures.

This is how muslims pray in 8.2.8, when standing we say Allahu akbar, God is greater, lift our hands, read from the scripture, say amin then bow down putting our head to the ground.
