Sad to see that the hogweed is still there - but at least it looks a lot more dead than when we passed it! I've been in Aoife's shoes too often at 1:40 😣 Great video as always!
Yup, and the signs aren't the best either they directed us into it. Lucky enough she was alright but it can easily go awry. As always thank you very much.
Brilliant again loved it. You could listen to those types of stories all day, there was a Horse called Eamon An Cnoic running at the Cheltenham festival this year.
Haha, no way! that's great, just so long as it wasn't Eamon himself up on that horse :D. I interviewed the fellas for about 30minutes but it could have gone into so much longer they were really interesting people to chat to. I was very lucky.
@@MountainMikesAdventures if you don't mind me asking, can you estimate about how much you spent on the hike itself, as in lodging and food? I plan on camping as much as possible to save on costs, but just want to get an idea of what others have spent. Thanks.
Believe it or not I actually have that penciled in on the list, It's around the Glenhest area if I'm correct. I've hiked a bit around the Nephin wilderness area, it's stunning and I love getting up into those mountains.
Another excellent episode Michael. Recognised so much, including those dogs! Great input from the locals too
Thank you so much Dermot, I'm surprised you don't have nightmares from those cows. Ah yeah they were great 👍 really added something to it.

Love Aoife with the horses!
Ya those shots came out nice, but they were very flighty but she did well to win them around.
Amazing video. So inspiring.
Thank you so much, I really glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for making all these videos, I'm planning to make the trip myself and this is a great help
You're more than welcome and that is fantastic, when are you planning on doing it?
@@MountainMikesAdventures I’m thinking of setting off at the beginning of July
@@oisin1816 right okay getting close, exciting stuff. Have you done much long distance hiking before?
Excellent video, well done! Looking forward to my turn at tackling The Ireland Way. Happy trails!
Ah, another for the challenge 😉 thats great to hear, when are you walking it? Very happy you liked the video.
@@MountainMikesAdventures that's undetermined at the moment, but hopefully as soon as I can.
Well listen, take your time and get yourself ready. If you need any advice just ask and keep watching the videos ;)
@@MountainMikesAdventures thanks man, will do!

You should climb bireencorragh. It is located beside nephin and is 699 metres tall

Lovely. Keep up the good work
Thanks, now that you've mentioned it I may even try and get up that this week ;)
