@@rushking19 has anyone ever went rod and piston setup/fully built one of these successfully with the 2.7L Delta? And if so, what's the most amount of horsepower/boost you think it can be able to handle stock vs built to both the wheels/crank?
@@jordanprice9285 yes the motor has been built before with rods and pistons, people have been building them since the early 2000's, this company called ngm used to sell built 2.7l engines with 2 options ,a budget block with forged pistons and stock shot peened rods rated for 400+ whp and a full race block with forged pistons and rods funny enough it was later found out that the rod that was used was a eagle h beam Honda h22 rod with the bearings machined to fit and had custom pistons, the full race long block was rated for 800whp, rn pauter sells rods specifically for the 2.7l and cp sells forged pistons specifically for the 2.7l ,the rods and pistons as I remember are rated for 1000+ whp but no one is sure yet what the stock sleeves are rated for its figured that its rated for 800whp but no one knows yet highest hp 2.7l on video was the owner of NGM aka next generation Motorsports, and he made 550 whp on 24 psi on pump 93 gas back in 2010 which was a lot for back then theres a lot of room for improvement ,the specs of the motor as I remember was 8.8:1 compression, forged rods and pistons, ported ngm stage 4 heads ,cams and intake manifolds with a custom header on his stealth turbo kit, with a gt72 turbo and 830cc injectors with stock 10.0:1 compression and a newer more up to date turbo and e85 and better ecu it would of probably made close to or 700whp,theres people rn building theirs to beat the record, and on stock internals most stay around 320 whp but the motor has been up to 440 whp and 400wtq on 14 psi on pump 93 gas with methanol injection lasted for a long time too before he ran put of methanol and he didn't care and raced and it blew
@@jordanprice9285 and yes a hx35 would fit but to turbo the car the battery has to be relocated to the trunk because the turbo sits where the battery was

I think I know which it was. It was made by a company. Ape motorsports I believe. To my knowledge they are out of business
