Good for you mate. Many of us have approached carnivore from a keto diet which I feel might be the easier route. Still I wish you all the best, just hang in there, it takes time to switch to being a fat rather than carbohydrate burner (at least a month and full adaption can take 6 months).
Yeah, I’ve only heard of Keto, but have never looked into any diet before. So far, so good on carnivore. I’ve allowed a small amount of milk and cheese and I ordered some equipment to make it easier to keep going (mincer, air fryer, food vacuum/sealer).
Stay away from milk, it contains too much carbohydrate but cream, particularly heavy cream is fine. Cheese is also good on keto. I try to limit carbohydrates to less than 20g per day which is guaranteed to keep you in ketosis (carnivore is ketogenic, just more restrictive than regular keto). @@GaryMeatsLife
Hi Gary, TH-cam has recommended your video!...that's how I started Carnivore 647 days ago, mate! Keep documenting and remember WHY you started. Also, do it at least a month and smash the YT research! Subbed to support 👍
Thanks. 2 weeks in and going strong. Started making my own beef burger patties this week. Delicious! Felt a little queasy today. I figured my electrolytes were low. I took a second electrolyte tab and ate a burger patty. Problem solved.
Find a couple people on YT to guide you or answer questions you come across as you go. I've stuck with Doctors who have years of experience actually doing this. Dr Ken Berry and Dr Cywes are 2 of them. Good luck!
Best of luck Gary
All the best Gary on your journey. From what I've seen on YT you won't be disappointed.
Thanks buddy. Most appreciated. Day 3 now, late morning. Haven't eaten yet and not even a little hungry. Time for steak :)

Thanks man. Monthly minimum uploads to keep myself straight. No negative effects aside from inconveniencing myself a little.
I've been carnivore for 2 years. You won't regret it.

Thanks, I've seen a couple of their videos already. I've just uploaded my day 10 progress video too. I made my own sausages today :)
