The meaning (for anyone who wants to know) is Oda basically telling Dazai to continue looking up to him (the Scarlet Sky) and hoping in his place, even if he himself lost the will to live and is gone. Him coming to terms with his fate, reminiscing about the past, about his dream of living "in the light", to sit by the ocean and just write about human life. It's just so... gentle. I would've dared to say romantic even. Though, I still understand their relationship as platonic soulmates (queer-platonic, which is technically what people consider "true love", but without the romantic or sexual aspect) "Survive because the love that made me who I am now will be the light for you.." is just... I can't... I don't even have a best friend or a person who understands me fully, but this, this just HURTS
