A lovely selection and lots of learning this month by the sounds of it! When things don't turn out the way you'd like I like to reflect on the benefits of sewing it and what I learnt
I love the PJs, sorry they didn't quite turn out at expected, but the added piping detail is beautiful. You know I'm loving that bag, looks very practical and can hold quite a bit. Yep, I'm one that's still sewing summer clothes because our warmer weather goes until at least November/early December, so I'll be in "summer" type garments for a while yet - LOL! Great video.
Your makes are nice. I think the pjs look great. I do know that the choice of fabric can make or break a garment. How about a light weight flannel for the pjs next time? Light weight flannel is practical, comfortable and will keep you warm in the winter months. Great job and happy sewing!
I am definitely sewing for fall now! Wishful thinking on my part as it’s usually hot until October here in Michigan I love your bag! I think you should put strips in the sides of your pj shorts since you’ve already put so much work into them
Fabric can really make or break a garment and ordering online can be tricky, but I love the minerva pjs, it's such a shame they aren't comfortable to wear. The weather has really turned from Summer to autumn here in the UK so I am looking at sleeves and jackets!
I know right? My past fails are all related to poor fabric choices.. which is a shame. I feel like I should know better haha! It's tricky. Same for the weather here :) Thanks for watching!
Love the Laundry Day Tee, and the PJ's looked great, sorry the fit wasn't comfortable! I also live in QC and go back and forth, sew something for warm days or cold days :) Perfect for your Jarah ! Re the Santa Fe, the colours look great... if you don't like the width, maybe for this one, sew up the sides and just make it a normal shape for this weight of fabric. I always look forward to your videos :)

Great makes! The second pj top could be saved if you just take the sides in? Shame about the shorts for the first pj set as it's a lovely make and a lot of work with all that piping. I'm still sewing summer stuff here as we are in the south of France so it stays hot well into October xx

I have about three fabrics which need to be made into summer weight clothes, but I think they might be put back for next year now... I have been struggling to decide on what to make 😣😁😘
Hi Andreanne, try washing your pjs in coca cola it will soften it and they should hang better, I'm still sewing summers dresses. Now they are more detailed makes. I find sweaters and pants are quick to make and I don't need as many clothes for the winter
